The Padmaavat (2018) actors did it sportingly, after which Vicky started addressing the actress as Deepika bhabhi! Every time he said it, Dippy got annoyed and chided him, but the Raazi actor loved baiting her, which had the audience in splits.

Toranj Kayvon, one of the prominent celebrity photographers in Bollywood shooting B-Town bigwigs, has also moved to the other side of the camera. She made her film debut with the Akshay Kumar-starrer Kesari, in which she has a small role. Talking about her switch to facing the camera, Toranj says, “Two years ago, I began professional training as an actor. An acting teacher suggested my name for the role when he was in the casting office by chance. Casting director Jogi (Malang) sir auditioned me for the role and I got confirmed for it almost immediately. Shooting for Kesari has been the happiest experience of my life. We shot in the Himalayas and it was a very physically challenging shoot due to the elements, and yet it was the most blessed and beautiful time of my life.”

She sums up saying, “In secret, I literally shed tears of joy in between my takes, at the gratitude I felt for the realisation of my dream.”

First Class, the second song from Abhishek Varman’s Kalank, releases today. The track, which has been picturised on Aditya Roy Kapur, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and other actors, has been composed by Pritam. The music composer describes it as ‘an Indian road song.’ He says, “It’s a full-on mohalla dance number, but I have kept the melody romantic. So, though it has a lot of intensity, its essence is fun. The lyrics depict a lot of heart-rending things, but eventually, they say, baaki sab first class hai. The track is emotional, but not negative. It will resonate with listeners because that’s our spirit — we have dreams and are trying to find our destinations, but at the end of the day, it’s all good.”

Kalank, presented by Fox Star Studios, is produced by Dharma Productions and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film releases on April 17.
