Scoops: Sidharth Malhotra-Parineeti Chopra shoot in a tabela, Sonakshi Sinha headed to Sri Lanka

Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra, who are reuniting on screen after four years since Hasee Toh Phasee, have been shooting in Lucknow for their next, Jabariya Jodi. We hear one extensive scene for the movie based on Bihar’s pakadwa vivaah (forcibly getting couples married) required the lead actors to shoot for one such jabariya wedding in a tabela where they ended up spending 13 hours amidst the cows. 

According to our source, “The film’s makers had made elaborate wedding decorations paying attention to all the details inside the tabela to make it seem authentic.

If anybody would walk in and out of the shed, everything would go haywire. So, both Sid and Pari decided they wouldn’t move out of the location or go to their vanity vans during the break. Instead, everything was arranged inside the tabela for them. They also took shorter breaks and the shoot progressed at a brisk pace.” 

We recently told you how Amit Sadh is training with the Special Forces personnel for his new web series, India Strikes Back. The actor, who has been sharing various videos/pictures on social media expressing his love for fitness, took a step further when he attended the Olympia Amateur India 2018 over the weekend. 

Accompanied by his trainer Rakesh Udaiyar for one of the biggest bodybuilding championships for amateur athletes, globally, the Gold actor visited various health kiosks. We hear he spent considerable time at the stall of the health and fitness equipment launched by Salman Khan’s Being Human Foundation. 
What is interesting is that Amit showcased a quick workout session for the audiences and gave some tips to be fit in the right way. Later, he also interacted with the atheletes and got some quick insights on their life, and also their health and fitness mantras. 

Sonakshi Sinha, we hear, is headed to Sri Lanka on October 26. An industry source tells us that the Happy Phir Bhag Jayegi actress will be performing at a casino in the neighbouring country next Friday. Obviously, she has been offered megabucks and considering the logistics, she apparently decided to take it up. She will be dancing to a medley of her popular songs and later is also likely to try her luck at some of the tables. 

Huma Qureshi, whose family has been in hospitality business in Delhi since long, shared her fondness for food on Mallika Dua’s show Midnight Misadventures. “I love Mumbai, but when it comes to food, it’s a little sad. The tikkas are not as great as it is back home,” said the actress, adding, “I miss Delhi food, especially the kebabs. My friends affectionately call me ‘kebab royalty’.” 

Talking about her brother Saqib Saleem, Huma said he’s a pig when it comes to household work. “We live together but he does not cook and always leaves the room in a mess. I am like like his housekeeper or governess at home. I also enjoy it because I have someone to look after,” she says fondly.
