SCOOPS: Salman Khan to produce Aayush Sharma's next too, Priyanka Chopra catches up with Blake Lively and more....

Oscar and Grammy Award-winning composer AR Rahman and breakout artiste Bishop Briggs were so moved by the upcoming film, Love Sonia, that they didn’t charge any fee for their work. The two came on board to collaborate for I Am More as they saw the film as a movement.

Helmed by debutant director Tabrez Noorani, who’s also producing it along with David Womark (Life Of Pi), the film tells the hard-hitting story of a 17-year-old girl Sonia (Mrunal Thakur) who travels from India to Hong Kong and Los Angeles to rescue her sister Preeti (Riya Sisodiya) from the nexus that runs human trafficking across continents. Featuring an ensemble cast comprising Manoj Bajpayee, Rajkummar Rao, Richa Chadha, Sai Tamhankar, Adil Hussain, Anupam Kher, Demi Moore, Mark Duplass and Freida Pinto, the movie has earned accolades at international festivals including London and Melbourne. Co-produced by Amar Butala, it has Shalini Thackeray, Deepak Nayar and Pravesh Sahni as the executive producers.

Talking about his musical collaboration, Tabrez says, “AR and I have known each other for a long time. He’s been very supportive on the movie after seeing it, and we knew that he will do the end title track with a powerful female voice. As Bishop saw the film, she was on board too. For both of them, it was about helping us out and doing a song because they believed in the film’s content and the subject matter. No monies were discussed; it was all done as a goodwill gesture.”

Love Sonia, presented by Tamasha Talkies and Samraaj Talkies in association with India Take One Productions, Cinemantra Entertainment and Media & Dynasty Consulting Group, and distributed in India by Zee Studios, releases September 14.

Salman Khan is producing LoveRatri, the launchpad of Aayush Sharma, and though the movie is yet to release, sources say that the youngster has been approached by a few filmmakers. “Salman wants Aayush to decide his next project only after seeing the response to his first film. Not only that, the superstar wants the newbie to do his second project under his banner only,” says the source.

Priyanka Chopra and fiancé Nick Jonas made a smashing entry together at the New York Fashion Week. The couple, with mommy Madhu Chopra in tow, were present at Ralph Lauren’s show which commemorated their 50th anniversary. Post the event, PC caught up with Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively. Says a source close to the heroine, “After the show got over, Blake and Priyanka spent a good 10 minutes discussing cinema and fashion.” Wearing a long-sleeve crystal-embellished gown, our desi girl looked stunning, along with Nick who chose a white tuxedo for the bash.

Kartik Aaryan who was stationed in Gwalior for the shoot of his next film, Luka Chuppi, had to travel to Bhopal. The young actor decided to take the train as flights weren’t available on the said date. We also hear that in order to hide from the crowd, the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety star wore a hoodie and covered his face. From the capital city of Madhya Pradesh, he went to Agra and then Mathura in Uttar Pradesh, where the next schedule of the romcom is being shot.
