Salman Khan is currently working on his next, Dabangg 3, even as his Bharat gears up for its date with cinemas this Eid. Recently, Sonakshi Sinha joined him on location in Maheshwar, Madhya Pradesh, to reprise her role as Rajjo, Chulbul Pandey’s wife. We’ve also told you that Mouni Roy is being roped in for a special song.

While speculation is rife about another young actress being signed up for a pivotal role opposite Salman, we hear that the superstar will be giving a break to his friend filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar’s daughter Ashwami in Dabangg 3.

“Contrary to reports, Ashwami plays a girl who is rescued by Chulbul Pandey,” says our source, adding, that this marks the protagonist’s entry sequence. “Like the first two instalments, which showcased a heroic entry for Chulbul, this time, too, it will be heroic, but it’s being treated differently by Salman and director Prabhudheva. Nonetheless, Ashwami plays a pivotal part that sets the tone of the narrative,” concludes our informer.

After his international TV debut last year with Conan O’Brien, Vir Das was recently in the news for his role as a CIA agent in the dramedy Whiskey Cavalier. Now, we have learnt that the popular stand-up comedian has been roped in for the second season of the series, too.

Vir plays the role of Jai Datta, a CIA agent who’s selected by secret agents Will Chase and Lauren Cohan on their adventures. Vir’s role has been widely appreciated by the critics in the West and the audiences have loved him, too. Now, the actor will reprise his part in season 2, which is expected to go on floors in the second half of 2019. Currently, the actor is on an extensive world tour post which he will begin shooting for his next Bollywood project.

Seven-year-old Mahi Soni, who plays Radha in &TV’s Paramavatar Shri Krishna, has been selected as the State Icon of Madhya Pradesh making her the youngest celebrity to be given the honour! Mahi will play a major role in promoting voter awareness for the ongoing General Elections 2019 according to the Chief Electoral Officer, MP.

The little girl will tour different cities within the state along with the officials and other members of the Election Commission to encourage citizens to vote. She has already visited Chhatarpur and will be soon going to Bhopal and Raipur. Her father, Vikas Soni, says, “We are really honoured by this initiative given to our daughter and nothing makes me prouder than to see Mahi as a State Icon. We hope her voice reaches out to as many people as possible and results in a considerable turnout.”

After Hrs was perhaps one of the first to tell you that Arjun Rampal had been spending quality time with South African national Gabriella Demetriades for a long time now. In fact, after he separated from wife Mehr Jessia, the two were also reportedly staying together.

Gabriella has been Arjun’s pillar of strength through the very trying phase when his mother, who was suffering from cancer, passed away. At his mum’s funeral in Worli last October, the model-cum-fashion-entrepreneur was badly shattered and wept continuously before the last rites were conducted.

Arjun has never hidden his fondness for the attractive foreigner. They have been spotted together on many occasions. However, the news of her pregnancy did come as a surprise. This shows that this good-looking couple is serious as far as their feelings for each other go.

So far, a number of his films have been dubbed in Tamil and Telugu for their release down South. Now, Shah Rukh Khan seems all set to make his South Indian debut. After Hrs had first reported that the Zero actor had been approached for a cameo in Mersal director Atlee Kumar’s next, Thalapathy 63, starring Vijay and Nayanthara.

However, it turns out that the part is more than just a cameo. Reportedly, unlike the special appearances he has done in some films so far, this time around, it’s a prominent role, that of the main antagonist. It is being said that this character appears in the movie only towards the end. What’s more, SRK’s 15-minute long role is also action-packed as it marks the film’s climax, of him fighting Vijay.

Apparently, for Thalapathy 63, the makers wanted a Hindi film star for the part. Atlee, who had been talking to SRK for a Bollywood version of Mersal (2017), managed to get his nod to play the baddie. Though he has supposedly agreed in principle, it remains to be seen if Shah Rukh eventually signs up for it.
