Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, who are tying the knot on December 2, have been approached to appear as celebrity guests on Dance Plus 4. According to our source, “Nick recently came out with his music single, which they will promote on the show. PC also wants to acquaint him with the Indian viewers. There was talk of the duo appearing on Karan Johar’s chat show, but that is not happening. Instead, they are likely to appear on the dance show because not only does Nick like his fiancee’s dance moves, he is also fascinated by Bollywood songs. If they agree, the episode will be shot next month and will be aired as a Christmas special in December.”

Kajol and Ajay Devgn’s son Yug Devgan is a fitness freak already. The eight-year-old grabbed everyone’s attention when a video of him working out in the gym went viral on the Internet. We met the proud mommy who tells us, “Yes, Yug is extremely interested in fitness. He loves working out and parkour. It’s not something we have pushed him to do; he’s taken it all up on his own. He wants to be like Spider-Man,” she enthused.

While most newcomers get some time to prepare for their first movie, Mishika Chaurasia had to shoot for her debut barely five days after she bagged her debut film. The Nagpur-born girl was cast by Pahlaj Nihalani for Rangeela Raja, starring Govinda, soon after their first meeting through a common friend.

Apparently, the veteran filmmaker, who is making his directorial debut after producing and distributing films for over 25 years, didn’t audition Mishika as he felt she was apt to play the strong-headed working girl Natasha in his fourth collaboration with Govinda. We hear, despite not getting adequate time to prepare for her part, on the first day of her shoot, the debutante delivered a three-minute scene with the actor in one take. “Govinda and Pahlaj were impressed with her confidence and approach to her role,” says our source.

While Ekta Kapoor’s production house has made several successful TV shows and films, it’s now her brother Tusshar’s turn to start his own banner. The Golmaal Again actor was looking for the right subject to kick-start his production plans for quite some time. Now, he has locked the script and will co-produce the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Kanchana: Muni 2 (2011). He will begin the venture along with Shabina Khan, who had previously co-produced Rowdy Rathore with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

The horror-comedy, which stars Akshay Kumar in the lead, is slated to go on floors next year. Interestingly, Akki and Tusshar have earlier acted in two films — Khakee (2004) and Insan (2005). Also, the superstar played the lead role in  Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara (2013), which was produced by Ekta’s banner.

While Akshay and Tusshar haven’t worked together since 2005, they will now collaborate as an actor and a producer.

The film industry is abuzz with talk about a film corporation’s hypocrisy with regards to the #MeToo Movement. Sources say that while the company didn’t waste too much time in keeping a couple of tainted names away from one of their production ventures, as far as their in-house production goes, they are allowing the guilty to roam free.

It is said that they have settled the case by paying the newbie heroine a fat sum. “It took some time for the corporation to negotiate the amount. Even this settlement comes at a lesser cost than shelving the movie,” says our source, adding, “For the kind of stand they were initially taking, their ‘volte-face’ has shocked the industry. So much so that some people are saying that this studio has absolutely killed the #MeToo Movement.”

Katrina Kaif has the audience swooning over her hot bod and dance moves in Suraiyya, the new song from Thugs Of Hindostan (TOH). The actress, who shares screen space with Aamir Khan in the track, is all praise for her co-star. She says, “We grooved together in for the first time after Dhoom 3. Aamir is so much fun to dance with. Somehow, we always end up doing the most difficult songs together. I don’t know how this happens. There is a huge comfort factor between us. I like it when he is in the rehearsal hall because he makes it fun. He is also an exceptionally supportive co-star.”

TOH, which opens in cinemas this Diwali (November 8), also sees Aamir alongside Amitabh Bachchan for the first time and has Fatima Sana Shaikh in a pivotal role. In the movie, Katrina plays the role of Suraiyya, a stunning dancer who casts a spell on Firangi (Aamir). The song has him in the garb of an English captain, who has the courage to woo her in a room full of British officers.

Kat can’t stop raving about the Bollywood superstar.  “Aamir has a unique talent, but most people don’t know about it. He says he is not super comfortable with dancing, but if he watches you, he can tell you where you are going slow. So, he was like my dance coach on the sets,” she reveals.
