While the two actors maintained a stoic silence, her recent social media posts hint at their closeness. A little birdie close to them tells us, “They have been approached to shoot for a brand together. The team was keen to have a real-life fresh jodi for one of their commercials. The brand has enquired if Farhan and Shibani will be interested in coming on board. The two are considering the offer, but haven’t decided on the same yet.”

Rhea Chakraborty, who was supposed to play a journalist in Satellite Shankar, starring Sooraj Pancholi, is no more a part of the project. We hear that the film’s makers decided to remove her from the cast after they learnt that she’s been on a PR overdrive, telling the media that she is playing the female lead in the travel-based drama. Says our source, “There’s another heroine opposite Sooraj. Rhea had a smaller role, but now she has been asked to leave the film. The movie’s makers are looking for a replacement currently and will soon announce the remaining cast.”

The Veere Di Wedding actress reportedly revealed that her star daddy only liked her boyfriends once she broke up with them. In fact, Anil ‘used to be antagonistic towards all of her boyfriends’, she said. But with Anand Ahuja, it was different. He is not only loved by the Kapoor family, he is one of Anil’s favourite persons. And to think that the actress was not interested in getting married to anyone from India!

4. Batti Gul Meter Chalu: When Shahid Kapoor plunged into the cold deep Tehri lake

Given that their faces are their fortune, most stars are wary of doing anything risky. No wonder then, many prefer to shoot underwater sequences in a specially built tank or a pool. However, Shahid Kapoor didn’t overthink when he had to plunge into the icy waters of Tehri lake during the shoot of Batti Gul Meter Chalu.
For a scene in this Shree Narayan Singh directorial, the actor had to jump into the lake of the quaint Uttarakhand town. The New Tehri, where the film is based, is built on the old Tehri that was submerged after the construction of a dam there. The lake is almost a kilometre deep and when they were filming, the climate was quite cold, with near zero temperature. When told the requirement of the scene, Sasha didn’t let the depth, the opaque nature of the water or the cold climes deter him as he took the plunge.
