Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor managed a short break to a European destination in between their hectic work schedules. On their return, the diligent superstar ‘couple’ immediately got into the shooting of Brahmastra. Ayan Mukerji, who has post-poned the release of his sci-fi,romantic film, still has some key portions to shoot with the two actors. Since the movie is VFX-heavy, the shooting is often done against the greenmat. The process is long-drawn but everyone knows Ayan is a good-storyteller. This is one of the reasons why his actors have complete faith in him.

Tiger Shroff’s popularity on ground is to be seen to be believed. When the actor was attending a Student Of The Year 2 (SOTY2) screening, women and children were falling over one another to click selfies with the starson.

Apparently, at the shooting in Dehradun, too, a similar thing happened. So, whether in Dehradun or Mumbai, the only solution for the producer had was to hire additional security to keep the crowds at bay.  One hears there were more bouncers summoned to protect Tiger than the numbers required to protect the girls. Usually it’s the other way around. However, everyone is aware that with the girls — Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria — being newbies, they went unrecognised on occasion. But for Tiger, things played out differently.

Jacqueline Fernandez recently became Bollywood’s first commercial heroine to foray into the digital space with the film, Mrs Serial Killer. What’s interesting is that the Judwaa 2 actress will explore a different kind of character for her web venture. To ensure that she stays true to her part, she has been doing  a lot of script-reading sessions and intense workshops with the film’s makers and the casting director.

Incidentally, of late, she has been frequently seen visiting the casting director’s office for her prep for the part. “Jacqueline has dedicated a few hours every day to prepare for the role before they begin filming. Apart from extensive readings and workshops, she has also been involved for the looks her character sports in the digital film,” says our source.

Tusshar (left), and with his son Laksshya

On June 1, Tusshar’s tiny tot Laksshya will turn three. Doting dad Tusshar has worked out a theme party for sonny boy’s b’day. The party, which will be held at their Juhu residence, is going to be a “full-on kiddie-affair”.

Tusshar said, “Since Laksshya is still very young, I’m going to make a simple all-kids affair for a few of his playmates. All the games and rides are being sorted out. The idea of the evening is for him and his play-date pals to have fun. Perhaps the only adults invited will be the parents of the children who come. And of course, I’m hoping my parents and Ekta will be there, too. For the rest, it’s going to be a sweet and personal, private affair.”

Today is Rescue Dog Day, which is observed to create awareness for the betterment of sniffer canines. To mark the occasion, Yami Gautam was roped in by WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) to be the voice and face of their campaign that aims at making people appreciate the work done by security forces (including forest departments and the armed forces) as well as their loyal four-legged furry friends. As part of the programme, the Uri: The Surgical Strike actress is using the digital platform to extend her support to the cause of these dogs, who are trained to curb illegal activities, among millions of her followers on social media.

Jacqueline Fernandez will make her digital debut as Mrs Serial Killer in a film written and directed by Shirish Kunder (Jaan-e-Mann, Tees Maar Khan and Joker).

We hear Mohit Raina, who was last seen in Uri: The Surgical Strike, will be paired opposite the lovely Jackie in the movie.

Mohit, who played Lord Shiva on television, has been winning notices especially after he was seen in the action drama alongside Vicky Kaushal.

It isn’t surprising then that the 36-year-old actor is currently in demand.

We messaged Mohit, but he didn’t revert. We also  contacted producer Farah Khan, but she hadn’t reverted till the time of going to press.
