She’s got spunk. Meet Alaia F, Pooja Bedi’s daughter, a social media sensation.

If sources are to be believed, a couple of filmmakers are planning to launch her.

Says an industry source, “Alaia F has been preparing to be an actor since the age of 16. She has inherited her mom Pooja’s striking looks and seems to have what it takes to make it big.’’

The source adds, “Apart from studying filmmaking and acting in New York, Alaia has also been attending performance workshops with two coaches. She is training in Kathak and Hip Hop and is taking voice modulation classes, too, so that she is well prepared for Bollywood.”

Reports suggest that the youngster has also been shortlisted as the face of a leading fashion brand. Looks like Bollywood is about to welcome another star daughter shortly.

Jacqueline Fernandez has always taken up for the causes she believes in. On the occasion of World Animal Day on Thursday (October 4), she took over eight million signatures to the United Nations voicing her opinion against animal testing for make-up products. The Race 3 actress was at the UN headquarters for the special event along with some representatives of the cosmetic brand she endorses, to speak about her campaign, Forever Against Animal Testing, as she feels strongly about it.

So, we gave him a dull gold sherwani with a black pagdi.

He is so delirious with the situation that he even had mehendi on his hands. So, it was kind of a unique look,” he recalled, adding, “I was making him channel his inner groom in the head as that was his aspiration because he was deeply in love with Alizeh (played by Anushka Sharma). Govinda, who is this week’s celebrity guest in Bigg Boss 12, will, along with the show’s host, Salman Khan relive their Partner days. We hear the two actors will wake up in the BB outhouse as a jodi, to their movie’s song, Do You Wanna Partner. Our informer elaborates, “Salman and Govinda will also behave like contestants in the house, and make breakfast together. Later, they will nominate jodis from Bollywood. Salman will nominate Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, and talk about how they can get married when he’s still single.”

Moreover, we have also learnt that when they go on stage, Govinda will give a game to contestants called Topibaaz. “Each contestant will be a thing and others will have to sell them using their quirks. For instance, Jasleen Matharu will be chhuri and Anup Jalota, kaddu, and one contestant will have to sell them to others,” reveals our source.

Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra’s next film has piqued the curiosity of movie buffs, more so because of its quirky title, Jabariya Jodi. And it seems the movie’s leading man is to be thanked for this. The reason being that it was he who suggested this name for it.

While some would assume that it means something fantastic as jabariya seems close to zabardast, it turns out the title actually means a ‘forced couple’. Given that the movie presents an interesting take on Bihar’s pakadwa vivaah, in which grooms are abducted to get them forcibly married, Sid suggested that this would be the best and the most apt title. Even as the movie is being shot in and around Lucknow, its makers, seeing the response the film’s first look posters have generated, are glad that their idea has excited cinegoers about their content.

Anupam Kher’s much-anticipated American series, New Amsterdam, climbed popularity charts after its premiere on September 25. Besides generating the fourth largest total viewership on the broadcasting channel, the second episode, which was aired on Tuesday (October 2) trended in the USA. 

Bollywood’s veteran versatile actor was comfortable to adapt to the new environment and a great cast comprising actors like Ryan Eggold, Freema Agyeman, Janet Montgomery, Jocko Sims and Tyler Labine.
