Various Bollywood celebrities like Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan did participate in Ganpati Visarjan this year
While COVID-19 in 2020 might have put a pause on many people's lives, it could barely stop them from celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi. Not just that, they also participated in Ganpati Visarjan, and brought a solution to be able to bid goodbye to Lord Ganesha.
Bollywood celebrities like Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan bid goodbye to the Elephant God in their houses itself. They filled a tub of water, and in that, they immersed the eco-friendly Ganesha with their families.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan shared an image of himself after the Ganpati Visarjan. On the other hand, Ananya Panday posted a picture with the Lord Ganesha at her home, before bidding goodbye to him.

After keeping Ganesha idol at Sohail Khan's home for one and a half days, Salman Khan and his family got together for Ganpati Visarjan. Paparazzi clicked the whole family while they immersed the idol in a small tub of water created for the same. Among the celebrities, photographers clicked Salman, Salma Khan, Helen, Sohail Khan, Alvira Agnihotri, Arpita Khan Sharma, Aayush Sharma, Ahil Sharma and Ayat Sharma.

Hrithik Roshan and his family also kept the idol of Lord Ganesha at their home for one and a half days and immersed it during Ganpati Visarjan. They performed the ritual at their home itself amid the pandemic and also went eco-friendly way. Hrithik with parents Rakesh Roshan and Pinkie Roshan, sister Sunaina Roshan, ex-wife Sussanne Khan and their sons Hrehaan Roshan and Hridaan Roshan, posed together with Lord Ganesha idol before immersing it in a tub of water filled with flowers.

Shah Rukh Khan also shared an image of himself post Ganpati Visarjan. "Prayers and visarjan done... This #GaneshChaturthi, may Lord Ganesha bestow upon you and your loved ones, blessings and happiness... Ganpati Bappa Morya!"

Ananya Panday also shared images of her whispering in Lord Ganesha's ears before bidding the Elephant God goodbye. "Miss you already! Come back sooon #GanpatiBappaMorya Pudhchya Varshi Lavkar Ya," she wrote alongside the post.
5. Hindustani Bhau pays visit to Shefali Jariwala for praying to Lord Ganesha

While Shefali Jariwala has not immersed her Lord Ganesha idol in water yet, Hindustani Bhau came to visit her and celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi together. Bhau has not come out in the public after his Instagram account was deactived. The message from the Facebook-owned portal when viewing his account, read, "We've removed hindustanibhau's account because it goes against our Community Guidelines." Jariwala and Bhau grew close on the sets of 'Bigg Boss 13'.
