Somy Ali made new revelations on her estranged relationship with Salman Khan.
Somy Ali has been making several shocking revelations about her life including her relationship and breakup with Salman Khan. Now during an interaction with Zoom, the former actor shocked everyone by saying that the superstar cheated on her which led to their separation. She was quoted by the portal stating, "It’s been 20 years since I broke up with him. He cheated on me and I broke up with him and left. It’s as simple as that."
However, this is not the first time, Somy had spoken about Salman cheating on her. Earlier during an interaction with MidDay, the Pakistani model turned actor had named Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as the woman with whom Salman cheated on her. However, without playing the blame game, Ali said, "Neither. They both did what they felt and believed was the right thing to do at that point in time. I don’t like to hold grudges. It will only affect my growth as a person."

As per reports in Indian Express, when asked about her first meet with Salman Khan, Somy Ali told MSN, "The first time I met Salman was in an aeroplane to Nepal. We were going there for the shooting of Buland. I showed him my wallet in which I was carrying his photo. He smiled and thought it was silly. I was very immature, lost in my stupid dream."

Somy Ali also revealed that it was due to her Salman Khan and Sangeeta Bijlani broke up. The couple was all set to tie the knot. Somy revealed, "I used to see Salman and Sangeeta (Bijlani) together at his house, holding hands. It used to kill me. I was this obsessed teenager out to marry Salman somehow. We started dating after a year. They broke up due to me. It was wrong, but I was too young to realize that."

While talking about Salman Khan's over-protective nature, Somy Ali said, "Looking back, it was so foolish on my part to want him all for myself. For me, he was the toy in the toy store that I wanted. He liked to go clubbing, and I would tell him to sit at home and play scrabble with me. He was also over-protective and treated me like a kid. I didn’t like it."

Somy Ali wished to marry Salman Khan and it was her teenage dream. She had told Bombay Times, "It was 1991 and I was 16. I saw Maine Pyar Kiya, and I went, ‘I have to marry this guy!’ I told my mom that I am going to India tomorrow. She, of course, sent me off to my room, but I kept pleading that I have to go to India and marry this guy — Salman Khan. That night, I had a dream that I have to go marry Salman because he is going to be my saviour. Since she wouldn’t relent, I called my dad. Of course, I didn’t tell him why I wanted to visit India."

On being quizzed if she is in touch with Salman Khan after these many years, Somy said, "No, I haven’t spoken to Salman in many years, and I think that’s the best way to go about things. When people come into our life, we learn from them — what we should do and what we shouldn’t. And there’s a time when you should move on. However, I respect him for his foundation, and I have heard that they do phenomenal work. I did meet his mom, Salma aunty, who is among my favourite people in this world when she was in Miami two years ago. It was wonderful to catch up with her."
