On Saturday, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas shared pictures of their mehendi ceremony on Instagram
Hours after Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas exchanged wedding vows in a Christian ceremony, the 36-year-old actress treated her fans to photos from her mehendi ceremony, which was held at the Umaid Bhawan Palace on November 30.
Priyanka wrote, "One of the most special things that our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each others faiths and cultures. And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so so amazing. An important part for the girl in an Indian wedding is the Mehendi."
"Once again we made it our own and it was an afternoon that kicked of the celebrations in the way we both dreamed. (sic)"

A cricket match was played between the bride’s and the groom’s families on Saturday before the Mehendi ceremony. While the two teams, named ‘P’ and ‘N’, tried to bowl the other out, the couple played cameo roles in the limited-over match.

Priyanka Chopra made for one happy bride as she got her mehendi done. Nick also got a little something drawn on his hand and from what we can see it is definitely Priyanka's name and a Om sign.

Songs like “Mehendi Hai Rachne Wali” reverberated in the corridors of the Umaid Bhawan Palace as Priyanka arrived. We hear the groom made a dhamakedaar entry, too, on “Tare Gin Gin Yaad Vich”. Priyanka's brother and cousins carried the Dulhe Raja on his shoulders.
The groom looked dapper in an off-white chikankari kurta and pajama from Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. He styled it with cool aviators and juttis.

It was earlier reported that around 5.5 kgs of a typical Camila mehendi was flown to Jodhpur for Priyanka's mehendi ceremony. It was supplied by the same person - Ritesh Aggarwal - who had sent mehendi during Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s wedding.

Priyanka wore a folksy, multi-hued organdy Anarkali from Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla's vintage collection. She teamed the outfit with the label's heirloom jewelry.
