Walking hand-in-hand, Ranveer was seen leading Deepika towards their car. Both were twinning in red and cream colored clothes. While Deepika teamed her silk kameez with a heavy red Benarasi dupatta, Ranveer sported a pink and gold jacket over his kurta.

Check out Deepika and Ranveer's pictures, right here:

The newlyweds touched down in Mumbai on Sunday morning and were photographed being escorted by heavy security through the airport.

Walking hand-in-hand, Ranveer was seen leading Deepika towards the car.

Deepika looked nothing less than royalty in an off-white Sabyasachi churidar kameez and a red and golden Benarasi dupatta. Apart from her heavy jhumkas, what grabbed our eyes was her sindoor and the henna on her hands. Oh and we also got a glimpse of Ranveer's 'Deepveer' mehendi.

Ranveer escorted his wife through the exit like a true gentleman. He was spotted requesting the shutterbugs to back off a little, who appeared to comply. He was also photographed escorting the new bride to the car - he opened the car door for Deepika, who took a seat after bidding goodbye to the shutterbugs with folded hands.

The newlyweds were driven straight to Ranveer's parents' house in Khar, which was decked up with serial lights and flowers for their welcome. Ranveer's father Jagjit Singh Bhavnani, his mother Anju and sister Ritika were also dressed up for Deepika's homecoming ceremony.

Walking hand-in-hand, Ranveer was seen leading Deepika towards the waiting press.

The newlyweds waved at the cameras and smiled through the impromptu photo-op session.

Deepika and Ranveer, who could successfully maintain the strict no-photos policy at their destination wedding, happily posed for the shutterbugs, this time.

The couple recently shared their official wedding pictures on their respective social media handles and the nation is still not over them. (Not sure how long are we going to stare at these fresh ones)

Deepika and Ranveer thanked one and all for their wishes.

Deepika bid goodbye to her fans and paparazzi with a respectful namaste. The couple will now host a grand reception in Mumbai on December 28 and it will be attended by almost the entire film fraternity.
