Photos of the Day: Kajal Aggarwal-Gautam Kitchlu, Gauahar Khan-Zaid Darbar, Ananya Panday extend New Year wishes

Actress Kajal Aggarwal and entrepreneur husband Gautam Kitchlu, who are currently holidaying in Kufri, Himachal Pradesh, posted a few photos on their social media handles giving fans a glimpse of how they ushered in the New Year. 

The lovely photos show Kajal and Gautam enjoying themselves amid snow and some sunshine.

"Reflecting on the year gone by...Yes, it’s been difficult for all of us sitting at home and being uncertain about what the future holds for us and our loved ones, but it's the many blessings we must remember to be grateful for and I wanted to share what I’m grateful for. I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to turn inwards and focus on my spiritual growth. This tremendous learning has given me the ability to deal with uncertainty better in these unprecedented times. I am grateful for all of the wonderful people who entered my life and led me on this path and supported my journey. I’m grateful for the honour @madametussauds bestowed upon me, all the love showered upon me by you- my extended family," Kajal wrote on Instagram. 

She added, "Grateful for marrying the love of my life @kitchlug and our new beginnings. It wasn’t how we’d ideally expected and missed close family and friends who couldn’t make it but then - ‘Reality does not conform to the ideal, but confirms it cannot be thankful enough for the love and blessings! Grateful to resume work, taking a new leap into new ventures- @okie.gaming and @discernliving ‘s #Kitched - a labour of love taking shape and form is an indescribable feeling."

Kajal concluded her note feeling grateful. She wrote, "Grateful for a new lease of life after a very threatening accident. MOST IMPORTANTLY, I’m grateful for the health of family and friends, feel deeply for those who have experienced the pain of loss over near and dear ones, and look at 2021 with renewed hope that the deeper meaning that we have found in 2020 will help us be better, kinder people from here on. #HappyNewYear #2021 wish everyone a year full of happiness, health and peace!"

Gauahar Khan posted an adorable photo with husband Zaid wishing her fans a Happy New Year. She captioned the picture, "Happy 2021 to all, from the Happiest people of 2020. #Alhamdulillah. @zaid_darbar (sic)."

Actress Ananya Panday, who is currently vacationing in the Maldives with Ishaan Khatter, posted a couple of photos of her verified Instagram handle posing in a chic bikini. "looking on the brighter side #Hello2021," she captioned the post.

Actress Yami Gautam, who is currently in Himachal Pradesh, wished her fans a Happy New Year, while ushering in the upcoming year amid nature. Hse posted a happy photo with her dog and wrote, "Breathing life a la’ Nature Happy New Year! (sic)."

Ajay Devgn welcomed the New Year with a photo of himself riding on a bike. 

"Wishing everyone around the globe a Happy, Peaceful & Prosperous New Year. Some of us are still in strife. But, lets do our best to find solutions. Lots of prayers & healing. Zooming into 2021.#HappyNewYear #NewYear2021," he wrote alongside it.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was seen twinning with Aaradhya at the Bachchan New Year party. They both wore the same hat, in different colours. While Aaradhya opted for a pink hat with silver lining, Aishwarya wore a silver hat with 'Happy New Year' inscribed on it.

Malaika Arora shared a photo of her and Arjun Kapoor from their Goa trip.

Arjun was seen sitting in a colourful shirt which was left unbuttoned (identical to the look from his first film 'Ishaqzaade') and black pants, as he leaned to rest his head on Malaika's. Arora, seen in a silver outfit, lay her head and hand on Arjun's head and shoulder, respectively.

Both Arjun and Malaika looked right into the camera with the slight smile. Sharing the image, Malaika wrote, "It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, it’s a new year..... 2021 #eternallygrateful."
