Anurag Kashyap and Kalki Koechlin bumped into each other at the 20 years celebration of Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Anurag was accompanied by his daughter Aaliyah Kashyap.
Kalki Koechlin had made her Bollywood debut in the year 2009 with Anurag Kashyap's hit film Dev D. Both of them started dating soon and eventually tied the knot in 2011. Then after two years, the estranged couple gave out a joint statement announcing their separation. Eventually, in 2015, Anurag and Kalki filed for divorce after trying to work on their marriage. It was also reported that both of them even tried couple counselling but things couldn't work on their favour.
Anurag and Kalki had released a joint statement where they announced their divorce. It read as, "Me and Kalki are separating, we are taking time off from each other to figure things out. We are not divorcing. We request the media to please respect our privacy and give us our space and not speculate. Thank you, Kalki and Anurag."
Even after being divorced for these many years, Anurag and Kalki share a cordial relationship. Whenever they meet publicly, they meet and greet each other sweetly. This was Anurag's second marriage. The filmmaker-actor was earlier married to Aarti Bajaj and they have a daughter together named Aaliyah Kashyap. Anurag shares a good rapport with his both wives and he has been open about the same.
Last night, at the 20 years celebration of designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Anurag and Aaliyah were snapped at the red carpet. They were later joined by Kalki and the trio posed together for the shutterbugs present there.

Anurag Kashyap was seen arriving with his daughter Aaliyah Kashyap at the 20 years celebration of ace designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The event was held in Mumbai last night. The father and daughter duo was seen bumping into his ex-wife and actor Kalki Koechlin at the event and they happily posed together.
Earlier during an interaction with PTI, Kalki had opened up about her life with Anurag. She stated, "Once I got married, I was only invited to the things that Anurag was invited to. People would say, 'Call Anurag's wife'. They wouldn't say, 'call Kalki' or 'call Kalki's husband'. In marriage, a woman becomes the weaker sex, even if her husband doesn't want her to be. This happens because of the way society has built the institution."

At the event, Kalki looked pretty in a heavily embroidered dress by Sabyasachi. Her outfit had long sleeves and embellishments all over the hem. A black clutch and nude pumps rounded her gorgeous look. She styled her hair in bangs and paired it up with gold dangling earrings.

Anurag and daughter Aaliyah share an amazing father-daughter relationship. The duo is inseparable and both of them give glimpses of their bond on their social media pages.
When Aaliyah celebrated her 18th birthday earlier this year, Anurag made a point to host a bash and make his daughter have the happiest day ever.
