Aliya Kapoor is the daughter of late Shashi Kapoor's son Karan Kapoor and Lorna Kapoor. The couple is now separated. Aliya is blessed with European looks just like her parents. 

22-year-old Aliya Kapoor's father Karan Kapoor acted in a few films before settling down in London. He is considered one of the world's top photographers. Aliya was born and brought up in London and has finished her education in the UK. He has a younger brother, Zak Kapoor. 

Despite being born and brought up in London, Aliya is reportedly close to the Kapoor family, her cousins Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor in Mumbai. Reportedly, she even accompanied her father Karan Kapoor to Pataudi Palace for Taimur Ali Khan's first birthday party. 

Aliya Kapoor's dad Karan Kapoor who did a few Hindi films including 'Junoon', '36 Chowranghee Lane', 'Loha' among others, failed to make a mark in the film industry. Thereafter, he pursued photography and settled in London.
