After reuniting on TV last year, Govinda and Madhuri Dixit will once again be seen together on the small-screen. The dancing sensation is all set to visit the sets of Dance Deewane, which is judged by the diva. Sources say the two will be seen recreating the song Ek Rasgulla Kahin Phat Gaya Re from their 1990 film, Izzatdaar. Not only that, Govinda will also make a fun video of his evergreen dialogue Intukle Pintukle from Deewana Mastana (1997). Meanwhile, the contestants of the show are gearing up to perform on all the hit songs of the ’90s superstar. The Hero No 1 actor is slated to shoot for the episode today.

While his brother Vicky Kaushal is being hailed as one of the best things to have happened to Bollywood in recent times, it seems brother Sunny Kaushal, too, is on the right track. The actor, who got noticed for his supporting role in Akshay Kumar’s Gold, has managed to bag not one but three films this year. The newbie has signed Sneha Taurani’s debut film Bhangra Paa Le, Dinesh Vijan’s Shiddat alongside Radhika Madan and will also be seen opposite Nushrat Bharucha in Hurdang.

Naturally, the actor is chuffed about getting to play varied characters in the movies. “I feel blessed that the makers are trusting me with such interesting roles. All the characters come from entirely different worlds, and they are amazing yet grounded stories. Jaggi in Bhangra Paa Le is a passionate dancer trying to find himself. Daddu in Hurdang is a student fighting for his rights and love. In Shiddat, every action of the character is motivated by love. As an actor I couldn’t have asked for more,” he says.

Sanjay Gupta’s new directorial, Mumbai Saga, has piqued cinegoers’ curiosity since its announcement. Starring John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi together for the first time, the gangster flick set in Bombay of 1980s and ’90s also sees old associates collaborating again, more so for Gulshan Grover.

This is the fifth movie that Bollywood’s Bad Man is doing with Sanjay — after Aatish (1994), Kaante (2002), Woodstock Villa (2008) and Acid Factory (2009).

Gulshan says his ‘favourite’ director gave him a chance to shine in (Sanjay’s debut) Aatish, and the impact of his role as the one-eyed gangster Kaniya is still felt.
Like in Sanjay’s maiden movie, Gulshan played a pivotal part in John’s debut, Jism (2003), too. And he’ll share screen space with Emraan after Gangster (2006).

“And both, Emraan and I are Mahesh Bhatt’s proteges,” says Gulshan. Jackie Shroff and Suniel Shetty, who are also a part of the ensemble cast of Mumbai Saga, are ‘brothers’ for him and so is Rohit Roy, with whom he’ll be working after a long time. And for someone who has shared screen space with Smita Patil and Raj Babbar, Gulshan will be working with their son, Prateik, for the first time in this gangster movie.

Tara Sutaria, who made her B-Town debut with Student Of The Year 2, is now gearing up for her next couple of films. When she’s not working, the newbie makes sure to devote some time to social causes, too.

In fact, even before she forayed into moviedom, the gorgeous gal was associated with a few NGOs. We hear Tara feels strongly for issues relating to child welfare and education and has, hence lent her support to organisations that do a lot of work in these areas. “One of the NGOs that Tara is associated with, deals in addiction and HIV/AIDS,” says our source.
