Abhishek Bachchan is currently shooting for Anurag Basu's film in Chinsurah in Hooghly district of West Bengal
After the thundering response to his comeback film Manmarziyaan, Abhishek Bachchan has already begun shooting for his next film. The actor is currently filming Anurag Basu's next in West Bengal. Several pictures from the sets of the film have got leaked on social media in which the actor can be seen donning a rugged look. One look at these pictures and you'll surely be reminded of Abhishek's avatar of Lallan from Mani Ratnam's Yuva.
On Sunday, the actor was shooting in an ashram in Chinsurah, which is in the Hooghly district of West Bengal.The actor was also seen driving an e-rickshaw, locally known as Toto. Abhishek also shot a few sequences at Tamalipara. The shot was about Abhishek whisking away an injured kid to the hospital. As per sources, the Manmarziyaan actor shot till late night on Sunday. On Monday too the shooting of the project is said to be going on in other location of the city.
We had already told you that Anurag Basu's upcoming film is an anthology of stories, on the lines of his 2007 movie Life In a Metro. Abhishek Bachchan is said to be playing the lead in one of the anthologies. The movie boasts of an ensemble cast including Aditya Roy Kapur, Taapsee Pannu, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Saif Ali Khan, Rajkummar Rao among others

Abhishek Bachchan has begun filming his next with Anurag Basu in West Bengal. The actor is said to be playing one of the protagonists in the anthology that Basu is directing next on the lines of his 2007 hit Life...In A Metro. Initially, it was being speculated that the film will be a sequel to Life...In A Metro, but last we heard, it will have a different title.

The first pictures of the actor from the sets of the film in Chinsurah, Hooghly have been leaked online and Jr Bachchan's look definitely reminds us of his character of Lallan in Mani Ratnam's Yuva. Especially, that red coloured cloth towel is giving us major deja vu. In these pictures, the actor can be seen enjoying some light moments off the camera.
3. What's shooting in Bengal without a Toto ride?

Abhishek was also seen enjoying a ride on the E-rickshaw, also known as Toto by the local folks, which serves as a major mode of public conveyance in Bengal. The actor had to drive a Toto for a few shots of the film as well.
4. Angry young man?

Abhishek can be seen channelling his inner angry young man in these leaked pictures from the sets of the film. The actor had shot for a scene which involved him whisking away a child to the hospital, on Sunday. Looks like it was an intense scene that was filmed, going by the bruises that can be seen on AB's forehead.

Director Anurag Basu was seen having long conversations with the actor during the shoot of the film. This would be Basu's next project after Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif starrer Jagga Jasoos. The film reportedly has an ensemble cast, which includes the likes of Saif Ali Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Rajkummar Rao, Aditya Roy Kapur, Fatima Sana Shaikh and others....
