A day after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death anniversary, reports have emerged that his plush sea-facing Bandra house is up for lease for Rs 4 lakh a month. Sushant had rented the apartment in December 2019 for 36 months for Rs 4.5 lakh a month. The apartment has been on lease for about six months but apparently there are no takers.
As per India Today, a celebrity broker said, "The flat has been up in the market for a while now. After [the] second wave, we are witnessing a slowdown in big-ticket rentals. Also, the fact that Sushant stayed there, has been a deterrent. A few Bollywood personalities looking for [a] house were shown the flat, but they didn't opt for it. Landlords are also reluctant to rent flats to stars."

Sushant Singh Rajput’s apartment is located in Bandra’s Jogger's Park neighbourhood, in the elite Mont Blanc building. The double storey apartment spans over 3,600-sq ft, with a huge hall on the lower floor and three bedrooms on the upper floor. He even had three car parks.

In a video for Asian Paints' Beautiful Homes, Sushant gave a tour of his beautiful abode with much fervour. He explained how he decorated the house with things he had always wanted, like a yellow study table and a projector. He said that his home “is a mix of everything, a concoction of my thoughts.”

In the video, Sushant revealed that he was first shown the pictures of the house when he was shooting for a film in Budapest. The late actor loved the apartment so much that he decided to move in. “I was really, really waiting to get here to experience this house,” he had said in the video.

Sushant’s living room boasted a Meade 600 telescope through which one can view Saturn rings, Jupiter moons and even the Andromeda galaxy. One wall of the living room was painted with fuscia pink colour and had antique paintings on it.

Sushant Singh Rajput also had a bookshelf covering an entire wall. In the video, he can be seen talking about all the interesting books he owned and liked to read.
