People on the sets of Kedarnath and Simmba are fans of Sara Ali Khan because of her laughter that rings across the set, bringing a smile to others’ faces as well.

They find the superstar beti affable and polite. However, what’s most important is a comment from another superstar beta who said, “Ibrahim and Sara are very sorted and well-brought-up children. At least as of now, Sara seems to have no airs and is respectful of the people she meets.’’

Guess the credit for this should go to Amrita Singh. Needless to say, Saif Ali Khan himself is a good father and manages to spend quality time with his kids.

Rani Mukerji’s critically-acclaimed and popular outing, Hichki, is about to be screened for the visually-impaired and those with low vision. The movie, which is about a teacher who suffers from Tourette Syndrome, will be screened in association with a non-profit organisation, Saksham — a pan-India NGO based in Delhi that focusses on the education and technology solutions for the visually-impaired. 
 
Screenings are likely to be held in Lucknow, Delhi, Panipat, Jalandhar, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Bengaluru, Bhuj, Junagadh, Bhavnagar and Gangtok. Rani, who plays the protagonist Naina Mathur, said, “Hichki has made a very positive impact not just at the box office but also on the society at large. This endeavour is to further the film’s message to these real heroes of our society who battle all odds to emerge victorious in life every single day.” 

Vaani Kapoor is all set to make heads turn in Siddharth Anand’s as-yet untitled directorial starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. The leggy lass, who is paired opposite Hrithik, will be seen in a glam persona in the action-dance flick. Ace stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania has been roped in to present the actress in a drop-dead-gorgeous avatar.

Recently, Vaani and Anaita travelled to London to source outfits that would be in sync with the former’s onscreen character. A source says, “Vaani plays a stylish dancer in the film and Anaita wants her look to become a talking point. So, both of them spent a couple of days in the UK capital handpicking the clothes accordingly.” 

Touted to be one of the most expensive action films in Bollywood, the movie will be shot at multiple international locations and will release on October 2 next year.

This is hilarious. Heard a producer who paid for favours was giving this ‘heroine’ cash instead of cheques. After demonetization, the actress stopped visiting the producer because she didn’t know what to do with all the cash he paid her. She wanted ‘white’ amounts to be credited directly to her account. But the producer wasn’t willing to oblige because he didn’t have a way to explain what were the services he was paying for.

Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma will be the special guests on the finale episode of Dance Deewane. The duo will be going on the show to promote their upcoming film Sui Dhaaga: Made In India. A source says that Varun is making something special for Prabhdeep Singh, who is hearing and speech impaired. “Varun, who plays a tailor in the film, will be making an outfit for Prabhdeep. It is not yet clear if it will be a kurta or a shirt, but it will definitely be handmade by Varun,” adds the source. The two actors will be shooting for the episode today.

Shakti Mohan is all set to judge the fourth season of Dance Plus soon. That apart, she is also turning producer this month with a dance-based comedy series, Break A Leg for her YouTube channel Nritya Shakti. On the show, she will invite two non-dancer celebrities to attempt a dance form they never have tried before. 

The first episode will have Aparshakti Khurana and stand up comic Abish Mathew making an appearance. Shakti says, "I've been thinking of doing for dancers something that has never been done before. It is going to be exciting working for my industry friends like Karan Wahi, Rithvik Dhanjani, Mallika Dua, Srishti Dixit, Namit Das, Kashyap Kapoor. I hope people have a lot of fun watching the series."
