On Thursday, Amitabh Bachchan's Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) makers unveiled the first look of the KBC set. The much-awaited show will begin shooting from September 7 with Bachchan reprising his role as the audiences' favourite host. The set has a whole new look and a season of 'setback ka jawaab comeback se do'.
Amitabh Bachchan completed his quarantine period at home recently and is now back on the sets of his TV show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 12'. For the uninformed, Big B was tested coronavirus positive and had been admitted to Nanavati hospital for nearly 22 days, after which he underwent home quarantine.
The tagline for KBC campaign this season is "Jo Bhi Ho, Setback Ka Jawaab Comeback Se Do." Talking about it, the director of the campaign, Nitesh Tiwari said in a statement, "I am grateful for the trust that Sony puts in me each year for the KBC campaigns. This year is of course very different and challenging for all of us in every aspect. But it has been a year of learning and exploring avenues that probably weren’t thought of, paving the path for something meaningful. Which leads us to the insight that there is a spark somewhere in each one of us that keeps us going, notwithstanding the obstacles, however big or small. The idea of this campaign is to reignite the spark and inspire people to move ahead in life."
Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter on August 23 and shared, "T 3636 - It has begun .. back to work and KBC 12 .." Meanwhile, on Instagram, he wrote, ".. it’s back to work .. in a sea of blue PPE .. KBC 12 .. started 2000 .. today year 2020 .. 20 years ! Amaze .. that’s a lifetime !!"
The channel shared the video on August 29 with a caption stating, "Jo bhi ho, setback ka jawaab #ComeBack se do. #KBC12 shuru ho raha hai jald hi sirf Sony TV par. #KBC @amitabhbachchan @spnstudionext".
Apart from the upcoming season of KBC, Amitabh Bachchan has a lineup of movies in his kitty. His upcoming film is Nagraj Manjule's Jhund. Big B is also playing the leading role in Ayan Mukerji directorial Brahmastra co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The film is eyeing for a release in December this year.
