After the long wait, the media finally got their hands on a few pictures from the wedding. Several photographers have been trying their level best to catch a glimpse of DeepVeer and their wedding festivities and today they got their desired dose.

Here, Check them out:

The theme of the Konkani wedding was white and gold. Deepika reportedly wore a Sabyasachi saree while Ranveer sported a Kanjeevaram sherwani.

Though the much-loved couple declared their wedding dates on social media in October after months of speculation that November nuptials were to follow, Padukone and Singh have been quite guarded about the grand affair. They are not giving any leeway to the media to broadcast their love story IRL or 'in real time'. With no definite details, media seems to be grasping at straws.

The first from the left is the bride's father, Prakash Padukone.

As per ANI, security at the venue is on par with that provided for a meeting of world leaders. At the CastaDiva resort for instance, any and all guests or visitors had to present a special wrist band while security guards covered up the camera lenses on mobile phones with stickers. On the lake itself, numerous security boats patrolled just outside the perimeter of the property to deter snooping photographers or gossip hunters.

The local authorities have warned boat rental companies from renting out boats for anyone from outside town. Attempts by the ANI reporter to rent a powerboat were repeatedly stymied. Rental company owners say they have been asked to make strict inquiries as to the purpose of the renters.
