One of the cutest couples of B-town, Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan is celebrating her 6th wedding anniversary with husband-actor Aayush Sharma on Wednesday, November 18. The duo, who have been giving major couple goals ever since they got together, tied the knot on November 18, 2014, and are blessed with two munchkins, son, Ahil, who is 4-year-old, and a daughter, Ayat, who shares her birthday with superstar and her uncle Salman Khan.

1. Beginning of Arpita-Aayush's love story

A love-story no less than a fairytale, Arpita Khan and Aayush Sharma first met in 2013 in Mumbai at a party through common friends. Love blossomed and it was no less than 'love at first sight' for Aayush, who has recounted this in several of his interviews. He admitted to having taken not much time before the two decided to be friends. But it was after Arpita one day told him that she was thinking of opting for an arranged marriage that he panicked and confessed his love for her.
Aayush said, “I got worked up. I called her up at 6 am in the morning and confessed that I liked her," Aayush told Pinvilla in an interview.

Apparently, Aayush had to wait an entire day to know if Arpita felt the same way and kept thinking about her answer, having mixed emotions and feeling perplexed thinking what if she said a no! But, as they say, matches are made in heaven, Arpita said a yes and the rest is history.
3. Salman Khan's reaction to Arpita-Aayush's relationship

The love story began, but there was tension lingering in Aayush's mind. In many of his previous interviews, Aaysuh spoke about being worried about getting Arpita's brothers' approval to their relationship. Speaking about the same, in an interview to Pinkvilla, Aayush recalled actor Salman Khan's reaction when he first got to know about Arpita and his relationship.
Recalling the incident, Aayush revealed that it was at Arpita's house one day that they were watching a film together where other common friends were supposed to join them but ditched, that Salman, who was apparently in Kajrat (according to Arpita), suddenly turned up and stood in front of them, to their surprise.
On seeing the two together, Salman calmly introduced himself and told Aayush "Hi! I'm Salman Khan'.
4. Sohail Khan's reaction to Arpita-Aayush's relationship

In his interview, Aayush also spoke about Arpita's brother Sohail's reaction who was his gym buddy for the longest time. Aayush recalled that one day Sohail had offered him a film unaware that he was dating his sister Arpita. Later, when Arpita introduced Aayush to Sohail, he freaked out and exclaimed in surprise 'You?'.

Aayush and Arpita have been married for 6 years now and the two seem to be going really strong together. The two often ake to social media to share photos of one another and their families. Both also shower with each praise and do not hesitate in acknowledging that they are an imperfect couple.
It was on their 4th wedding anniversary that Arpita had written an emotional note for Aayush. "A great marriage is not when a perfect couple comes together, it’s when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their difference. Not only are you my husband & Ahil's Pappi, your my best friend too. Through thick & thin, happiness & sorrow. I am blessed to have a partner in crime like you. Love you very very much @aaysharma Happy Anniversary," Arpita wrote.
The couple tied the knot in 2014 and are blessed with two children, a son and a daughter.
