1.Rani Mukerji's 'Hichki'
Rani Mukerji's comeback film Hichki is about a woman having the Tourette's Syndrome and how she goes on to become a teacher, making her weekness into her strength. Not just that, she gives the regular teaching methods a spin and ends up shaping the future of a bunch of kids from slums.
2.Shreyas Talpade and Naseeruddin Shah's 'Iqbal'
The movie is about a mute and deaf village lad (Shreyas Talpade) who wants to play cricket for the Indian national team. His life changes when he comes across an ex Indian cricketer (Naseeruddin Shah) who coaches him and gives him bowling lessons.
3.Rani Mukerji and Amitabh Bachchan's 'Black'
This Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial is about a harsh teacher (Bachchan) who teaches a deaf, mute and blind girl (Mukerji). While he later develops Alzheimers, his student manages to become a college graduate.
4.Aamir Khan, R Madhavan, Sharman Joshi's '3 Idiots'
The Rajkumar Hirani directorial was a masterclass for not just the teachers and students, but also for all the parents of the country. The way the relationship of the college principal (Boman Irani) and an unconventional student (Aamir) evolves through the course of the film is not much spoken about but is something to watch out for.

5.Aamir Khan's 'Taare Zameen Par'
When an art teacher (Aamir) enters the life of an eight-year-old child having dyslexia at a boarding school, his life gets a 180 degree spin. Through his teacher's unconventional teaching methods and tricks, the child and his parents discover his inherent talent. Of course, the child later even overcomes the difficulties and improves his reading and writing skills too.
6.Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra's 'Student Of The Year'
Karan Johar directorial was a lot about the relationship and the bond of friendship shared among his protagonists. But not many pay attention to the fact that sOTY also tells us that its not always the teachers who impart knowledge to the students. There are times when students can also end up teaching a thing or two to the teachers.
7.Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dear Zindagi'
We're accustomed to the idea that a teacher is the one who teaches us within the confines of our school or college. Gauri Shinde's Dear Zindagi is one movie that tells us that anybody who inspires us to be better versions of ourselves. When a girl suffering from insomnia and depression meets a counseller who helps her count her blessings and embrace happiness in the little joys that life has to offer, she evolves and learns to balance her emotions and find her true ambition.
