Apart from 'Singham' and 'Ghaini', Suriya also has 'Yuva' and 'Force', which were remade in Hindi. The actor made a special appearance in 'Rakht Charitra 2' Hindi version, since the movie was shot in both Tamil as well as Hindi.

For the uninitiated, Suriya's movie 'June R' was also going to have a Hindi remake called 'Aap Ke Liye Hum'. Originally titled Chaasni, the movie featured actors like Jaya Bachchan, Raveena Tandon, Ayesha Takia, Manish Koirala, Mithun Chakraborty and Ranvir Shorey.

More so, Suriya's movie 'Sillunu Oru Kaadhal', which featured Bhumika Chawla in the lead role, was also remade, but in Marathi. The movie, titled 'Tu Hi Re', starred Swwapnil Joshi, Sai Tamhankar and Tejaswini Pandit in lead roles.

The movie which brough Aamir Khan back in limelight - 'Ghajini' (also featuring Asin and Jiah Khan in pivotal roles) - was an adaptation of Suriya's Tamil film by the same name. The movie was also directed by AR Murugadoss.

Rohit Shetty's original film from the cop universe, 'Singham', featuring Ajay Devgn (opposite Kajal Aggarwal) was also inspired from Suriya's Tamil film 'Singam'. Suriya's version became such a huge hit that the movie was adapted even in Kannada, Bengali and Punjabi cinema.

Remember the movie which introduced Vidyut Jammwal? Featuring John Abraham as the protagonist, Genelia D'Souza as the lover and Vidyut Jammwal as the antagonist, the movie 'Force' was a Hindi adaptation of Suriya's 'Kaakha Kaakha'. The Suriya film was also adapted in Kannada as 'Dandam Dashagunam'.

While Suriya was shooting for 'Aaytha Ezhuthu' opposite R Madhavan, Siddharth, Trisha, Meera Jasmine and Esha Deol, a Hindi version of the film was also being shot. In the Hindi cinema, people remember the movie as 'Yuva', which featured Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Vivek Oberoi, Kareena Kapoor, Ajay Devgn and Esha Deol in lead roles.

Ram Gopal Varma's 'Rakht Charitra 2' was shot in Tamil as well as Hindi. Both the versions featured Vivek Oberoi, Suriya, Shatrughan Sinha, Radhika Apte and Priyamani in the lead roles.
