Shahid Kapoor turns 38 today
Shahid Kapoor is now one of the most wanted actors in Bollywood. He is currently working on the Hindi remake of the blockbuster film Arjun Reddy. The actor has created a fan following of his own over the years and even though he isn't Shah Rukh Khan, Shahid has seen his share of struggles to enter the industry.
It isn't hidden that the actor wanted to become a dancer and was training under Shiamak Davar. Truth to be spoken, he even appeared in the Bollywood movies Dil To Pagal Hai and Taal as the background dancer. Hugh Jackman and Gerard Butler had flew the American F-16 aircraft previously, but in the Indian actors, Shahid was the first to achieve this feat. He acquired it through his role in Mausam which also starred Sonam Kapoor.

Shahid however was rarely in a serious relationship, and according to his confession, he never left his girlfriends - they left him. His dating journey reportedly began with Hrishita Bhatt, who featured with him in 'Aankhon Mein'. Shahid was then in a relationship with Kareena Kapoor Khan for the longest time. They broke up on the sets of Imtiaz Ali's Jab We Met and Kareena went on to date Saif Ali Khan when they met on the sets of Tashan. Shahid's name was soon linked to his neighbour Priyanka Chopra, but both of them denied any such thing. In the beginning of his career, Shahid Kapoor had a traumatic experience with a horse. During the filming of his film Ishq Vishq, he was required to sit on a horse, but the actor came face-to-face with the horse, literally. When he found a horse's head extremely close to his posterior, Shahid jumped off the fence and ran in the opposite direction, for as far as he could.
