Veteran actor Pankaj Kapur is celebrating his 67th birthday today. In a career spanning over four decades, Kapur has worked in several TV shows, films and even Hindi theatre. In the early days of his career, Pankaj was enrolled in the National School of Drama (NSD).
The actor became a household name in 1980s because of his hit show ‘Karamchand’ and in the 2000s with his praised show ‘Office Office’. Kapoor has also worked in acclaimed films like ‘Raakh’, ‘Ek Doctor Ki Maut’ and ‘Maqbool’.

1. Married Neelima Azeem in 1979

Pankaj Kapur met Neelima when he was still in NSD and she was an aspiring dancer. The two got married when in 1979 and had their only child, the handsome Bollywood hunk, Shahid Kapoor in 1981. Later, Pankaj left for Mumbai to pursue a career in the film industry and the couple got divorced in 1984. Neelima later married Rajesh Khattar and they had a son, Ishaan Khatter.
2. Married Supriya Pathak in 1988

Pankaj Kapur met ‘Khichdi’ fame Supriya Pathak aka ‘Hansa’ in 1986 for the film ‘Naya Mausam’. They developed a great bond and got married in 1988. They have one daughter, Sanah Kapoor and one son, Ruhaan Kapoor.
