Kangana Ranaut is often known for her bold choice of words. She doesn't fear picking out on people. Even though it might appear that the actress does it for controversy on the forefront, some of the situations which Kangana has managed to bring to limelight, have really made us think out hard.
The actress removed our blind eye to nepotism in the industry. We then started supporting outside talent even more than before and called out every star kid who had it easy. Kangana Ranaut has created many such situations where we did think that maybe she is indeed right.
As Kangana turns a year wiser today, we go back and take a look at all the times when the actress made us think 'Mental Hai Kya' and wanted us to go and personally tell her 'Panga mat le'. Interestingly both 'Mental Hai Kya' and 'Panga' are also movies which Kangana will star in next. It was recently announced that Kangana would also play the role of actress-turned-politician Jayalalithaa in her next. The biopic is titled 'Thalaivi'.

When Kangana Ranaut pointed out that no celebrity came forward to watch her last film Manikarnika, we did know that she was right. The actress pointed out that she has attended many screenings, which are also true. Kangana pointed out at Alia Bhatt. The Queen actress said that she attended Raazi screening but despite her repeated attempts to approach Alia for Manikarnika screening, the Highway actress did not pay heed.
Kangana even pointed out that Alia Bhatt often hides behind Karan Johar. If Alia has played a bold character like she did in Raazi, Kangana asked her to be brave and take a stand too.
2. Ranbir Kapoor, irresponsible citizen?

Kangana called out Ranbir Kapoor for not commenting on Pulwama terrorist attack. She says that being a celebrity, he should be aware and not just shun away important topics. Being a public figure does come with responsibility and a response like Ranbir Kapoor's does raise questions.
3. Shutting down Karni Sena like a boss!

The Karni Sena has raised voices since Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh-Shahid Kapoor starrer Padmaavat. Them beating up director Sanjay Leela Bhansali got the indutry infuriated. The Karni Sena once again tried to show Kangana Ranaut the highway, but she got back and how! The actress said, "Four historians have certified Manikarnika, we have got censor certificate as well, Karni Sena has been conveyed this but they are continuing to harass me. If they don't stop, then they should know I am also a Rajput and I will destroy each one of them."
4. Nepotism

Kangana Ranaut has to be credited for bringing the concept of nepotism which existed in Bollywood since a long time, to limelight. The actress called out Karan Johar on his chat show 'Koffee With Karan' and called him 'flagbearer of nepotism'. Looking back, the filmmaker has launched some star kids in his career.
5. 'Queen' fame not for her?

Kangana Ranaut's gain-to-fame movie is believed to be Vikas Bahl's Queen. The movie was much-spoken-about at that time, but when Kangana Ranaut became a brand and hosted special screenings for Tanu Weds Manu Returns, everybody turned a blind eye once again. "In 2014, I don't think all the accolades were for me, it was for Phantom who was coming up and there were having screenings after screenings for people of Vikas and Anurag Kashyap. They had a lot of friends, so they used to come. I have always been absolutely ignored. After Tanu Weds Manu also I have had so many trials, they would just not come," the actress had mentioned.
