John Abraham married NRI Priya Runchal in the year 2014 during an intimate ceremony which was attended by close friends and family.

John and Priya first met while working out at a gym in 2010, and after the actor's break up with Bipasha Basu, the two met quite often 

Priya Runchal was born and brought up in Los Angeles California, United States.

However, her entire family is originally from Kangra city located in Himachal Pradesh.

Priya who completed her MBA degree in London and she is an investment banker and a financial analyst. 

John Abraham father, Abraham John once during an interview said that he loves Priya and whenever she is in Mumbai she always pays a visit to them. He also said that she is a sensible girl who is a good match for his son. He further added that she is an independent girl who is very focused on her career and wants to be known for the work she does and not some actor’s wife

Just like John, Priya too likes everything old school. The both of them even love to stay behind closed doors as they need to keep their private lives away from the public

The actor also praised his wife and said that she brings a lot of maturity to the relationship, a lot of sanity, a lot of stability and she's a good person
