Actor John Abraham turns 48 on December 17. A model-turned-actor, John who debuted in 2003 in the Hindi film industry, is also a film producer. He owns John Abraham Entertainment which has produced films like Vicky Donor, Madras Cafe and Marathi film Savita Damodar Paranjpe.

Besides this, John is the owner of the Indian Super League football team NorthEast United FC. He is He co-owns the American clothing brand Ecko Unlimited in India and is an advocate of animal rights. 

Best known for his love for sports bikes, it is John who is the pioneer of bodybuilding in the Hindi film industry.

Born to a Malayali Syrian Christian from Kerala, John's mother is an Irani with roots in Gujarat.

Not many know that John's Zoroastrian name is 'Farhan', but he was baptized with the name 'John'. His name 'John Abraham' is the reverse of his father's name Abraham John. He has a younger brother Alan Abraham.

After schooling at Bombay Scottish School in Mahim, Mumbai, John attended Jai Hind College, University of Mumbai, and completed his MBA from SVKM's NMIMS.
