Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma turned 31 today and she celebrates her birthday alongside her husband Virat Kohli this year
Back in 2008, a pretty-faced girl was introduced to the Bollywood industry. She romanced Shah Rukh Khan in a movie which was titled Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and was backed by Yash Raj Films. After making her debut with the movie, Anushka Sharma carved her way deep into Bollywood and is currently remembered for a few of her last films, including Pari, which was made under her own banner called Clean Slate Films.
Anushka Sharma bagged more movies with Shah Rukh Khan, ended up working with Salman and Aamir Khan too, got deeply connected to cricket industry after working on a commercial with the Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli, dated him, and years later, even secretly got married to the once most eligible bachelor.
The couple is in an extremely happy space currently. They have been spending time together throughout the IPL season, and were last spotted partying up in Delhi with Virat's IPL team, Royal Challengers Bangalore aka RCB. A few days back they were even spotted on a playdate, giving us relationship goals.
Virat Kohli has often maintained that Anushka Sharma has been his constant strength and support. He even shamed those who tried to troll his wife and declare her presence was the reason why India lost a match. Anushka herself has a very clear mind at things and she has been vocal about it in the past.

While speaking to The Week, Anushka Sharma said, "I make an endeavour to live like a responsible citizen. Responsibility comes before privelege. My endeavour is to always contribute more than what I get".
2. On female relationships

In an interview to GQ, Anushka Sharma happened to mention, "We never explore female relationships in our films. Two girls come into a movie and are associated with each other only because of a guy. I will make films to change that."
3. Celebrity?

In an interview to Masala magazine, the actress said, "This idea of celebrity is all just an illusion. This guy standing outside my car right now, selling tea, is probably a hundred times more interesting than I am. I'm bloody regular."
4. Reduce the violence? What about real life?

Anushka had told Reteurs, "When you make a film and you are told to reduce the violence, what is happening in real life is much more brutal. What we are making is much milder, and then you tell us to reduce by 30%? What does that mean? How do you do that?"

Anushka Sharma told Vogue in an interview, "I’m a boys’ girl! I come from an army background and I haven’t known what being a ‘good Indian girl’ means."
8. Not a bloody pageant

Anushka told Hindustan Times, "I genuinely don’t care about the ‘number one’ tag. That’s not my goal. You know, no one does that with heroes, but with actress it’s the same number game. It’s not a bloody pageant."
