'Hum Bajrangbali Ke Bhakt Hai'. Salman Khan narrated this dialogue in his movie, but it seems to hold true for him even in real life. The actor has paid his tribute to the Mountain God not only via his movie 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' but also through many other movies.

Many would have forgotten that rhe superstar Salman Khan has adapted the version of 'Hanuman Chalisa' in his movie 'London Dreams'. Apart from that, there are many instances where Salman took up a project which was linked to Hanuman.

On Hanuman Jayanti today, we look back at the times when Salman Khan remembered Bajrangbali. The actor, who is soon going to be seen in 'Bharat', 'Dabangg 3' and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Inshallah' opposite Alia Bhatt, has mostly remembered the God in 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan', but even otherwise.

When Salman Khan's look was first unveiled, the teaser poster had a pendant which had the gada of Hanuman. Of course the pendant created such a sensation that it is now available even to the public.

In fact the first song to be unveiled, 'Selfie Le Le Re', also had various Hanuman references. Even though the song was quirky, it had children dressed up as Hanuman and saw Salman Khan praying to Lord Hanuman.

All of those who have read Hanuman's story would be aware that he actually picked up Dronagiri Parbat (mountain) in order to heal Lord Ram's brother Laxman. Similarly, Salman Khan picks up Munni in the movie 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' in order to protect her from the crowds and help her reach a safe destination i.e. Munni's house.

Salman Khan even feeds a monkey in the movie. He respects monkeys. For the uninitiated, Lord Hanuman was also a form of monkey.

5. Hanuman Chalisa in 'London Dreams'

The Hanuman factor began with 'London Dreams'. In the movie, Salman Khan recites Hanuman Chalisa. He is supposed to play an instrument in his friend Ajay Devgn's band. However Ajay cannot sing mid-performance and Salman is expected to sing the song 'Barso Yaaron'. He ends it with Hanuman Chalisa.
