And the photos from the mehendi ceremony is out.

An intimate yet elaborate affair, Gauahar and Zaid's pre-wedding festivities began with the traditional 'chiksa' ceremony and now the actress has put up some stunning photos of herself dressed on a bright yellow outfit on Instagram, flaunting the beautiful mehendi that is applied on her hands.

Besides these, photos from the mehendi celebration at the ITC Maratha is also out.

Earlier, the actress and Zaid had shared a glimpse of their love story in an animated video. Gauahar's Instagram video features a caricature version of the couple. The video narrates their love story, with the tunes and sounds of the cover version of the song, "Best day of my life". "Jab we Met @zaid_darbar #6daystogo #GazabKaHaiDin," she wrote with the short video.

The animated video shows how they connected over messages and termed that it was not love at first sight but love at first beep. The video highlights their relationship, which blossomed during lockdown period. They started out as friends and went on grocery shopping, and fell in love while exchanging texts, and enjoyed dates.

The summary of the video read. "What started as a lockdown ritual, turned into love at first beep. Quarantine drives and parking garages is what date night looked look like! No matter the distance, we`ve always found ourselves closer together. And when all words failed, he sealed the deal with a song. We can't wait to spend our lives with love, laughter and most importantly good food."

Now, with the wedding, just a day away, take a look at some photos from the couple's mehendi party celebrations.

Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar looked made for each other in these fresh photos from their mehendi ceremony. Dressed in colour coordinated emerald green attires, the couple gave major outfits goals as they posed for the shutterbugs.

While Zaid looked dapper in a kurta-pyjama set teamed with a half jacket that featured the same border as Gauahar's sharara and the top had, the bride-to-be looked regal in the green attire teamed with a matching dupatta. Gauahar rounded off her look with heavy gold jewellery that included a choker, elaborate maangtika, heavy earrings bangles and rings.

Dressed in stunning outfits and all set for their wedding on December 25, Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar posed for the cameras while at their mehendi ceremony which is being held at the ITC Maratha in Mumbai. The couple looked deeply in love as they shared a happy moment together while being clicked.

Gauahar Khan looks pretty donning a bronze skirt teamed with a loose-fitted, layered yellow top featuring mirror work. She accessorised using fresh white and yellow flowers maantika, bangles, neckpiece and earring.

If one looks at the photos carefully, one will be able to spot that the couple cutely and very intelligently didn't twin from top to bottom in the same colour outfits, instead, while Gauahar wore a golden bronze skirt teamed with a yellow top with mirror work, Zaid sported a white kurta-pyjama set paired with a half jacket which seems like it is cut from the same cloth as the soon-to-be-bride Gauahar's skirt. How cute is that!

Bollywood music composer and Zaid Darbar's father Ismail Darbar was snapped at the event with his wife and Zaid's younger brother all posing for a happy picture.

Nigaar Khan, Gauahar Khan sister, was also snapped at the event posing happily with her businessman husband Khayyam Sheikh. For the unversed, Nigaar married Khayyam in Dubai in 2015. Nigaar looked ravishing in a maroon velvet lehenga set as she smiled for the cameras.

The soon-to-be-married couple posed with Sandip Ssingh, who was under the radar in late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, at their mehendi ceremony being held in Mumbai.

Zaid Daardar's sister Anam Darbar looked mesmerising in a bright yellow lehenga set as she posed for the shutterbugs at her brother Zaid Darbar and Gauhar Khan's mehendi ceremony.

Earlier on Thursday, taking to her Instagram handle, Gauahar Khan shared a set of photos in which the actress can be seen posing happily dressed in a bright yellow suit with a matching dupatta that covers her head while the star flaunts the beautiful mehendi design that is applied on her hands.
