The following are some of the people that have been arrested for drug possession and consumption.
The arrest of Aryan Khan in a drug case made national headlines and horrified many people. However, he isn't the only person to be accused of being involved in a narcotics case. Several celebrities have been accused of abusing illegal substances.
Since the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput a year and a half ago, the NCB has actively investigated the link between Bollywood and drugs, exposing the dark underbelly of the industry.
The following are some of the people that have been arrested for drug possession and consumption.
1. Rhea Chakraborty

In September 2020, the actor-VJ and close friend of Rajput was arrested, along with her brother Showik Chakraborty, on charges of arranging drugs for the late actor. However later they were granted bail.
2. Bharti Singh

NCB detained Bharti Singh and her spouse, Haarsh Limbachiyaa, in November 2020. Investigators found ganja at their home and office. They were granted bail later.
3. Armaan Kohli

The actor was detained in a drug seizure case in August 2021. The NCB apprehended him after discovering 1.2 grammes of cocaine in his home. His bail request was denied.
4. Fardeen Khan

The actor was detained by NCB in Mumbai on May 5, 2001, for reportedly attempting to purchase cocaine. In 2012, he was given immunity from prosecution in the case by a special court.
5. Preetika Chauhan

In October 2020, the television actor was detained for alleged ganja possession (cannabis). She was granted bail and released.
6. Shabana Saeed

In November 2020, Firoz Nadiadwala's wife was detained when the NCB raided the Nadiadwala home and discovered 10 grammes of marijuana. A Mumbai court released her on bail.
7. Kapil Jhaveri

After the crime branch raided a rave party where narcotics were reportedly being utilised, the actor was detained in Goa in August 2020. He was the major suspect because he was the one who organised the party. Later, he was released on bail.
8. Sanjay Dutt
)
After being caught in possession of illegal drugs, Sanjay Dutt spent five months in jail in 1982.
