2.LOC Kargil

Hrithik Roshan-starrer Lakshya is based on the backdrop of the Kargil War. Though, the movie has a fictional representation of the war, it does stand out as one of the best war movies made in Bollywood.

'Yeh naya Hindustan hai… Yeh ghar mein ghoosega bhi aur Maarega bhi'. These lines have once again proven apt by the Indian Army and Air Force with Operation Sindoor. This Vicky Kaushal-starrer is also based on the retaliatory military operation by the Indian Army in September 2016. A must watch for sure.

6.Sky Force
The latest movie to join this list is Akshay Kumar-starrer Sky Force. The movie centres on India's first airstrike on the Pakistani airbase at Sargodha, and it is based on the life of Squadron Leader Ajjamada Boppayya Devayya of the Indian Air Force and the 1965 Indo-Pakistani War.
