This child actor in Kajol's arms appeared in Ishq, now gives blockbuster with Aamir Khan; can you recognise her?

This actress became a household name with her impressive performance in a 2016 film starring Aamir Khan, which was not only a massive hit in India but also received universal critical acclaim. 

 But did you know this wasn’t her first film with Aamir Khan?

She started her journey in the industry as a child artist, appearing in films like Chachi 420, Bade Dilwala, and One 2 Ka 4, among others.

Recently, she spoke with Bharti Singh and Harssh Limbachiyaa on their podcast and shared that her first film with a Bollywood superstar was in 1997. The 33-year-old actress revealed that she had worked with Aamir Khan in the romantic film Ishq. 

In one of the film’s most iconic scenes, she can be seen in Kajol’s arms, wearing a pink frock.

She shared that she had a small role in Ishq long ago. In one scene, Aamir Khan says, "mara, mara, mara," while Kajol holds a little girl in her arms. She revealed that the child in that scene was actually her. 

Her 2016 film with Aamir Khan was a big hit and loved by critics. It became the highest-grossing Indian film ever, making over ₹2,000 crore (US$230 million) worldwide.

The sports drama also featured Aamir Khan, Sanya Malhotra, Zaira Wasim, Sakshi Tanwar, Aparshakti Khurana, and others. The film was a huge hit and broke several records in 2016.
