After throwing a lavish bridal shower in New York, a swanky bachelorette and a badass pyjama party in Amsterdam, Priyanka Chopra flew down to Mumbai for Diwali. The diva shared a few pictures from her Diwali festivities along with mother Madhu Chopra and brother Siddharth Chopra.

On the occassion of Diwali, Varun Dhawan put up a gorgeous picture with girlfriend Natasha Dalal, making their relationship Instagram official. Earlier he also shared a family picture with his father David Dhawan, mother, brother, sister-in-law and newborn nephew. 

The Bachchans kept their Diwali celebrations low-key and a family-only affair because of the recent demise of Shweta's father-in-law Rajan Nanda. Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan got together with son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan for a small Lakshmi puja. Later, the family also lit a few sparklers. 

Soha Ali Khan attended brother Saif Ali Khan's Diwali bash with husband Kunal Kemmu. The actress also put up a cute family picture with daughter Inaaya on the eve of Diwali.

DNA After Hrs had earlier reported that the Devngs will be having a ghar-wali Diwali, this time. Ajay and Kajol's daughter Nysa, who is studying in Singapore, flew down to Mumbai to celebrate the festival with family. 

Kriti Sanon, who is currently shooting for Housefull 4, was just getting one day off to celebrate Diwali which is why she decided not to go to Delhi. Instead this year, her parents came down to Mumbai for the festivities. Kriti was also spotted at Ekta Kapoor and Karan Johar's Diwali parties. 

Katrina may not have been seen at Salman Khan's family party, this year, but the actress did make a stunning appearance at her 'Zero' co-star Shah Rukh Khan's Diwali bash. Later, she put up a beautiful portrait of herself on Instagram where she is seen placing diyas. 

Shraddha Kapoor attended quite a few Diwali bashes this year. Apart from Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar's parties, she was also spotted at Ekta Kapoor's residence. 

After the massive success of 'Badhaai Ho', Sanya Malhotra decided to ring in the festival in Delhi with her family. 

Actor Anil Kapoor and wife Sunita Kapoor flew down to London along with Rhea and Harshvardhan to be with daughter Sonam Kapoor and son-in-law Anand Ahuja on their first Diwali after marriage. Rhea's rumoured boyfriend Karan Boolani also accompanied them. Sonam and Anand celebrated the festival in their new London home with a traditional Diwali puja. 

Shahid and Mira shared a passionate liplock as they celebrated 'love' this Diwali. It was a family affair at the Kapoor residence as half-brother Ishaan Khatter, mother Neelima Azeem joined them for the festivities. The excitement was on an all time high as this was also Misha's baby brother Zain Kapoor's first Diwali. 

Alia Bhatt just attended two Diwali parties, this year. One at Shah Rukh's residence and second at Karan Johar's Dharma office. The actress was seen bonding with her ex flame Sidharth Mahotra's alleged girlfriend Kiara Advani and her 'juniors' Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria. 

Karan Johar's bash was attended by several members of the young brigade of Bollywood including Kiara Advani, Ananya Panday and Sara Ali Khan. He also posed with his munchkins, Yash and Roohi on the occassion. 

Sagarika and Zaheer celebrated their first Diwali after marriage, this year. 

The Kumars kept it low-key and just had a little puja at their office, this year. 

Kangana decided to spend Diwali in Manali this year specially for her little nephew and for her brother who is introducing the family to his girlfriend. She ringed in the festival of lights with her entire family at her new home in Manali.

Diwali is Ayushmann's favourite festival and he makes it a point to celebrate it with his entire family, every year. His wife Tahira Kashyap was recently diagnosed with stage zero breast cancer and she is still undergoing medical treatment for the same. But Ayushmann and her brother-in-law Aparshakti ensured that the disease doesn't come in the way of their festive spirits in any way. 

Sonali Bendre, who is undergoing cancer treatment, brought in the festival of lights with her husband and son in New York. It was an 'unconventional' Diwali for the Behls as they weren't dressed in Indian clothes and were miles away from home. 

Salman Khan celebrated the festival with his entire Khan-daan. Rumoured girlfriend Iulia Vantur also joined the celebrations. 

Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor attended Karan Johar's bash together. While they arrived in separate cars, she reportedly visited Arjun's place, later. 

Ananya Panday, who is all set to make her Bollywood debut with 'Student Of The Year 2', made a splash at a lot of Diwali bashes, this year. 

Another debutante who turned heads at parties, this year, was Sara Ali Khan. She looked nothing less than a diva in that golden lehenga-choli at SRK's bash. 

After stirring up a storm on social media with her bold and beautiful Diwali post, the starlet made a stunning appearance with rumoured beau Tiger Shroff at one of the Diwali bashes. 

This Diwali was extra special for Aamir Khan as it co-incided with 'Thugs Of Hindostan' release and also Kiran's birthday. The couple was spotted at the iconic Prithvi Theatre in Juhu, Mumbai on Diwali's night.

Shah Rukh was among the first ones in Bollywood to host a Diwali bash. The party saw almost all of Bollywood at Mannat including Aamir Khan, Kajol, Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani, Sara Ali Khan, Vicky Kaushal among others. The stars turned up in their best ethnic wear. But, the picture that truly stood out from the evening was the one which saw Shah Rukh posing with his family - wife Gauri, daughter Suhana and AbRam. Aryan could not join the celebrations, this year. 

Mannat lent a beautiful backdrop to a lot of celeb pictures but these two are our personal favourites. 

While the rest of the industry revelled in the festivities, Deepika and Ranveer spent most of the day distributing their wedding invitation cards. The couple visited filmmakers Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Farah Khan's houses, first. They are set to get married on November 14, this year. And considering the D-day is less than a week away, the couple could harldy find time to socialise. They skipped parties of big names like Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar. 

Sanjay Dutt and wife Maanyata Dutt kept this year’s Diwali party a private affair inviting only family members and close friends.
