In 1967, Dilip Kumar started the double role comedy with the iconic Ram Aur Shyam, which inspired generations of filmmakers.

Five years after Dilip Kumar's double role laugh riot, Hema Malini starred in its remake, giving fa resh spin to the concept with Seeta Aur Geeta. This film was among the top grossers of 1972. 

10 years after Seeta Aur Geeta, Sanjeev Kumar starred in Angoor. In this film, two characters meet their identical twins, which leads to hilarious chaos of mistaken identity. This classic is a must-watch.

10 years after Judwaa, David Dhawan remade his own directorial with his son Varun Dhawan, Judwaa 2. This movie was also a blockbuster, and arguably, Varun's last major success at the box office.
