Kalyug is a revenge drama that revolves around Kunal Dhar (Kunal Kemmu). He is hell-bent to destroy the porn mafia syndicate that is running a p**ngraphic website, owned by Simi (Amrita Singh). Simi's syndicate is the root cause of the death of Kunal's wife Renuka (Smiley Suri).

Kalyug was released in cinemas on December 9, 2005. The movie received a positive reception from the critics and audience. Made in the reported budget of Rs 4 crores, the film grossed Rs 10.26 crores worldwide. The net gross of the film was Rs 7.20 crores, making it a profitable venture for Bhatt camp.
