Meenakshi Seshadri, Rambha, Preity Zinta: Bollywood actresses who left the industry and settled abroad

Actress Meenakshi Seshadri, popularly known as 'Damini' of Bollywood, worked in many superhit films in the 80s and 90s. She married Harish Masoor in the year 1995 during the peak of her career and shifted to America. These days the former actress lives in the city of Plano, Texas.  

Bollywood's Dimple Girl Preity Zinta has also stepped away from films. She was last seen in 2018 film ‘Bhaiaji Superhit’ opposite Bobby Deol. Preity currently lives in Los Angeles with husband Jean Goodenough. 

Bollywood and South's beautiful actress Rambha has been living in Canada for many years now. She is married to NRI businessman Inder Kumar and gave birth to a child last year. Rambha and Inder are also parents to two daughters.  

Actress Mallika Sherawat, who became a super hit overnight due to bold acting in ‘Murder’, is also included in the list of actresses who left the country and settled abroad. Mallika often shares photos from her luxurious house in Los Angeles. In fact, the actress was bestowed a honorary citizenship of Los Angeles in 2009.

Popular 90's actress Shilpa Shirodkar, who appeared in several films with Bollywood stars such as Govinda and Salman Khan, now lives in Dubai. Shilpa is the sister-in-law of South Superstar Mahesh Babu. Shilpa returned to acting after a 13-year hiatus and worked for TV shows. She is now spending time at her home in Dubai.

Actress Madhavi, who earned a name in Bollywood and the South film industry in the 90s, also decided and settle abroad. She currently lives with husband Ralph Sharma in New Jersey, USA. Ralph is Indo-German by descent. Madhavi is remembered for films like ‘Agneepath', ‘Ek Duje Ke Liye’ and ‘Arrested’.
