Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna's sea-facing Mumbai home in the Juhu area has a lush front garden replete with thick and bountiful bougainvillaea bushes an indoor ponds. The garden area also features rope hammocks and a small wooden seating arrangement for morning tea/coffee and breakfast.

Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna are complete garden enthusiasts and the elaborate garden area in their Mumbai home is proof of that. A separate al fresco seating arrangement in one corner of the front garden area that comprises wooden fencing, a small water fountain, lots of greenery with potted plants all around and the frangipani trees swaying in the wind, a gigantic statue installation to give that overall impression and artistic lamps providing just enough light at night time, is apparently the couples go-to dinner spot.

Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna's living room is a reflection of their design aesthetic. Minimalistic, artistic, chic and classy -- the living room is all rolled into one. A 13-part pendant light installation by Klove Studio, an indoor pond and a brass-and-glass Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla centre table are some of the highlights of the living room that has several comfortable seating arrangements and large windows that overlook the garden area. Art and paintings from prominent artists are other prominent features of this area of the house beside the home theatre.

Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna's Mumbai home has a spacious balcony that has grey as the dominating shade. It comprises Italian style-sofas and a float study table that Twinkle recently set up in her favourite spot in the house.

Twinkle Khanna's home office is a quiet place done in shades of black and grey and it boasts a large bookshelf, round seating space to unwind, a pin-board, few paintings on the wall an if one looks closely at the picture, one can spot a separate seating arrangement with white and gold chairs and a table. The large windows provide ample natural light.

During the lockdown last year, Twinkle Khanna redecorated a mundane corner of the house and gave it a space lift to turn it into a cosy reading nook. This is the before and after images that the star shared on her Instagram.

A best-selling author and a columnist, Twinkle Khanna sure need her own bookshelf zone. A large shelf that boasts of a collection of books from various genres, this space sure does make the lady of the house very happy. Also, Twinkle has very creatively sued the space under the staircase for the shelf.
Utilising dead space under the staircase, the area is lined with a railing of rope. How innovative!
8.Akshay Kumar-Twinkle Khanna's home: The bedroom
Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna's bedroom is all about fuss-free and minimal interiors. The highlight of the master bedroom on the first floor is the ceiling to the floor glass window that has a gorgeous view of the green landscape outside. The low-rise bed has a charcoal suede headboard and wooden peripheral panel.
9.Akshay Kumar-Twinkle Khanna's home: The Porch
On special occasions like Diwali or Christmas, the couple decorates their porch with flowers and more to give it that festive feel.
