The longest serving (ex) Chief Minister of Delhi Sheila Dixit passed away on Saturday following a cardiac arrest
Saturday afternoon was black day for India. The longest serving (ex) Chief Minister of Delhi Sheila Dixit left for the heavenly abode. She passed away after condition with cardiac arrest. Dixit was admitted to Fortis Escorts Hospital who confirmed her death at 3.55 pm.
Her last rites will be held on Sunday at 2:30 PM at Nibambodh Ghat. On hearing about Sheila Dixit's passing away, Twitter mourned and maintained few minutes of silence. They also sent across condolences to her family. Delhi has also declared two-day mourning after the incident.
Not only politicians, even Bollywood celebrities also offered their condolences on her passing away. Among these celebrities were Akshay Kumar, Bhumi Pednekar, Shatrughan Sinha, Urmila Matondkar, Lata Mangeshkar and Vivek Oberoi.
