Akshay Kumar has explored many roles throughout his career spanning of 28 years. He might be tagged as the 'Khiladi' Kumar in Bollywood, but the actor has continuously tried to change his image. Hence he has recently done movies where he plays good cop, bad cop, comedy, movies with social messages and work in the armed force.

The actor will soon be seen in KesariIn the film, he plays a soldier away from his home, fighting the Battle Of Saranghari. The movie, backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, is slated to release on March 21 this year. It also stars Parineeti Chopra as his love interest.

Meanwhile, his other film, Sooryavanshiwhich is part of Rohit Shetty's cop franchise, is back in news. This happened after the makers unveiled the poster of the Akshay Kumar starrer announcing not just the release date of the film (Eid 2020) but also confirming that Simmba Ranveer Singh and Singham Ajay Devgn will be part of the film, which is once again co-produced by Karan Johar.
