Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are celebrating their wedding anniversary today and completed 13 years of togetherness. They tied the knot in a traditional ceremony on April 20, 2007, at Amitabh Bachchan's residence in Mumbai. The couple decked up in South Indian and North Indian trousseau and made for a beautiful and royal couple. Since then they have been together and getting thicker day by day. Aishwarya and Abhishek had got engaged on January 14, 2007.
Talking about the proposal, Abhishek had earlier said, "I was filming in New York for a movie. And, I used to stand on the balcony of my hotel room and wish that, 'One day, wouldn't it be nice if I was together with her, married. Years later, we were there for the premiere of Guru. After the premiere, we were back in the hotel. So, I took her to the very same balcony, and I asked her to marry me."
