Sonali Bandre Behl returned to India with her husband Goldie Behl. She was spotted at the Mumbai Airport, soon after she landed in the country in the wee hours of Monday morning. The actress has been battling high grade cancer and undergoing treatment for the same in New York.

Sonali looked visibly happy on being back to the bay. Her husband shared that she doesn't need to go back to New York for further treatment. Sonali Bendre has been battling cancer for the past six months. She even went through chemotherapy sessions and now that she's back, she will be required to go for regular checkups. 

Sonali had shared in an emotional post that she is happy and looking forward to this interval.

Sonali Bendre landed in Mumbai with husband Goldie Behl in the wee hours of Monday morning. The actress has returned to India after about six months. She was in New York, undergoing chemotherapy for cancer. 

Sonali Bendre was all smiles as she posed happily for the paparazzi present at the airport. The actress has been battling High Grade Cancer. She revealed that she's been diagnised with the same on July 4. Since then, she has been sharing her jounery of battling the deadly disease on her social media pages, serving as an inspiration to many. 

Sonali's husband Goldie Behl shared with the media present at the airport that the actress is recovering well and doesn't have to go back to NYC for further treatment. He said, "It's been six months and I would like to inform everybody that Sonali is doing good and she is back for good. She is recovering very well. Thank you all for the love and support. Her treatment is over, for now, Sonali is absolutely fine. Just like what happens in such diseases ? regular checkups, regular scans ? that we have to do since this disease can come back," reports ANI.

Goldie Behl added, "For now there is nothing as such that she will have to go back for. I am very happy that she is back home. Like any other patient, she will have to go for regular checkups. She is a very strong and determined woman and I am very proud of her."

Before leaving from New York, Sonali penned down her thoughts in an emotional Instagram post. "And now I'm on my way back to where my heart is. It's a feeling I can't describe in words but I'm going to try - it's the joy to see my family and friends again, the excitement to do what I love and mainly the gratitude for the journey I've had up until this moment," she wrote.
