An art director, Shaira has been snapped on various occasions like when the Kapoors celebrated the 40th anniversary of Prithvi Theatres or during the annual Christmas bash by the famous first family of Bollywood among other times, but she never really been in the news.

Unlike a lot of her cousins like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor, Shaira Laura Kapoor stays away from the media spotlight but well, not away from the industry like her cousin Aliya Kapoor. Daughter of actor Kunal Kapoor and granddaughter of legendary superstar Shashi Kapoor, Shaira is very much a part of the Hindi film industry, but from behind the scenes.
Shaira Kapoor, daughter of late Shashi Kapoor's eldest son Kunal Kapoor and Sheena, Ramesh Sippy's daughter, is a set dresser in the art department and assembles furniture and props on the set of commercials and films including Bollywood films like 'gully Boy', 'Tumhari Sulu', 'Bombay Velvet' among others.
Shaira Kapoor is not the only child of Kunal Kapoor and Sheena Sippy. She has a younger brother, Zahan Prithviraj Kapoor. The two children live in Mumbai with their dad for Kunal and Sheena are divorced.
Shaira Laura Kapoor's mom Sheena, daughter of Ramesh Sippy, is a well-known photographer. Her actor dad Kunal Kapoor was last seen in the film 'Panipat', starring Arjun Kapoor. Kunal also runs the day-to-day working of Prithvi Theatres along with his children Shaira and Zahan. Besides 'Panipat', Kunal was also seen in films like 'Singh is Bling', 'Trikal', 'Utsav' to name a few.
Like her cousins Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor, Shaira too is close to her paternal family and is often seen attending family get-togethers like the Kapoors' brunch, or annual Christmas get-together.
