Ranbir Kapoor's grandmother Krishna Raj Kapoor passed away on Monday, early in the morning around 4 am, following a cardiac arrest. She was born on December 30, 1930 and late legendary actor Raj Kapoor had tied the knot with her back in May 1946 and the couple has five children. Ranbir Kapoor, son of Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor is their grandson.

While Krishna Raj Kapoor was loved and revered in the entire Kapoor family, Ranbir Kapoor's affectionate bond with his granny is not hidden from anyone. The actor is known to have stayed with his dadi at her Chembur abode for quite a long time. 

Not just that, the grandmom-grandson have given us all some adorable moments to cherish. Though, their pictures together are pretty hard to find, we happened to dig up a few of them from social media.

Krishna Raj Kapoor would never miss any film starring Ranbir Kapoor. Ranbir also took her to be his greatest critic and always sought her comments on his performances. 

Ranbir has been very close to his dadi Krishna Raj Kapoor, especially after spending a lot of time with her during his stay at her Chembur abode, the actor developed a special bond with her.

Back in the year 2016, Ranbir Kapoor walked the ramp at Lakme Fashion Week for Kunal Rawal, he was asked who's the most stylish woman as per him and he had said, "For me, my grandmother Krishna Raj Kapoor is the most stylish woman around."

Reportedly, when Ranbir's last release - the Sanjay Dutt biopic was offered to him, he was at his granny's place. Apparently, Krishna Raj Kapoor was a bit startled on knowing about the film since she didn't quite understand the genre of a biopic. 

Later, when she watched the trailer of Sanju, she really liked it. Earlier, she didn't understand the concept of a biopic since for her, if a movie is being made, then there should be a hero in it, in the truest meaning of the term. 

Several reports suggest that Ranbir had revealed in his earlier interviews that his grandmother was very fond of having biscuits and cookies. So much so, that whenever she traveled abroad to different countries, she woould bring cookies from there and offer them to Ranbir very affectionately.

Apparently, Krishna Raj Kapoor's meals would compulsorily have a generous amount of ghee and Ranbir's favourite dish from his grandmother's hands is Junglee Mutton.
