It has been over a decade since the lazy Siddharth, played by Ranbir Kapoor, entered into our lives and left an impact. While Sid did wake up, he left most of us wide awake with himself too, warming our hearts with some special and cherishable moments.

The full-of-positivity film reflected real feelings of friendships, love, emotions, family and the indefinite need for independence and stability. Even today, 'Life Is Crazy' would make you want to take a long drive with your friends, as would 'Iktara' make you want to confess love to the special someone.

The emotions did manage to come alive on the big screen and how! But there are also a few other moments from the Ranbir Kapoor-Konkona Sen Sharma starring film, directed by Ayan Mukerji, which are going to remain forever special.

Take a look...

1. Moving out

Daring to move out and start somethig on your own, even when you might think you aren't ready, is the first step to success, which was beautifully portrayed in 'Wake Up Sid'.

2. Growing into a professional and realising hobby can also be turned into profession

Remember the lazy Sid? He took a backseat when it came to doing what he aspired to become. Yep, the same Sid who went to work in a formal work environment wearing a cartoon t-shirt, was a thorough professional in right time and with the right kind of people.

3. Being independent

Every person who saw Sid, would not believe that he was capable of trying to gain financial stability. All he believed was, in partying and chilling with friends. Things took a 360 degree turn and unfolded in such a beautiful manner that it pulled audiences with it. Also, the touch of a great father, played by Anupam Kher, who helped his son financially through the first month, was quite commendable.

4. Making friends feel important

Sid thought he would be there for his friends, but just like real-life people, ended up hurting them, but eventually, he made them all feel important and wanted. After all, surviving the test of time counts, am I right?

5. Falling in love

Sid fell in love, but never expressed his feelings openly, scared that the other person might not feel the same way. However, when it was clear that Ranbir and Konkona's characters were indeed in love, there was no holding them back.
