Boxer Viijender Singh has come out in support of renowned Punjabi actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh in his recent Twitter war with Kangana Ranaut. Vijender replied to Kangana's tweet involving filmmaker Karan Johar, where she called Diljit 'Karan Johar ke paltu'.

Supporting Diljit Dosanjh in the controversy, Vijender, boxer who tried acting in 'Fugly', tweeted to Kangana, "Galat panga le liya bhen." He added a punch emoji at the end of his tweet.

Vijender was replying to Kangana's tweet that read, "Ooo Karan johar ke paltu, jo dadi Saheen Baag mein apni citizenship ke liye protest kar rahi thi wohi Bilkis Bano dadi ji Farmers ke MSP ke liye bhi protest karti hue dikhi. Mahinder Kaur ji ko toh main janti bhi nahin."

"Kya drama chalaya hai tum logon ne? (O Karan Johar's pet, she is the same grandmother who was seen protesting at Shaheen Bagh and now demanding the farmers' MSP. I don't know Mahindar Kaur ji. What kind of drama is this?) Stop this right now."

Not just Vijender but comedian-actor Vir Das also showed his support for Diljit. He said, "Hey Diljit Dosanjh. Just wanted to say you rock. That's all." Vir ended his tweet with a folded hands emoji.

Singer Mika Singh also asked Kangana to apologize. He tweeted, "I used to have immense respect for @KanganaTeam, I even tweeted in support when her office was demolished. I now think I was wrong, Kangana being a woman you should show the old lady some respect. If you have any ettiquete then apologise. Shame on you.."

In her now-deleted tweet, Kangana said that an elderly woman, who was seen protesting against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) at Shaheen Bagh in the national capital in December-March, was seen in the ongoing farmers' protest in Delhi as well.

She had tweeted that the woman had joined the protest for a meagre price of Rs 100. The comment had left many people supporting the Farmers' Bill Protest in Punjab, including various celebrities, furious.
