Bollywood actor Rakul Preet Singh has tested positive for the novel coronavirus and has quarantined herself. The actress shared her health update on her social media accounts with a note.

She said that she is "feeling fine and will rest well" and requested everyone who had come in contact with her to get themselves tested as well.

Rakul Preet Singh posted a message on her social media handle that read, "I'd like to inform everyone that I have tested positive for COVID-19. I have quarantined myself. I am feeling fine and will rest up well so that I can be back at shoot soon. Request everyone who met me to kindly get yourself tested. Thank you and Please stay safe."

For the uninformed, Rakul Preet had recently started shooting for MayDay that also stars Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles. Recently, Rakul Preet Singh had shared a picture of herself from the film sets as her Instagram story.

Recently, Samantha Akkineni was clicked along with Rakul Preet Singh while making their way towards the sets of Sam Jam. They donned a stylish look and were all smiles while posing for the shutterbugs present there.

This was the first time that Samantha and Rakul shared screen space together. However, Samantha had made a special appearance in Manmadhudu 2 starring Nagarjuna and Rakul in the lead roles.

During the show, Rakul Preet Singh looked beautiful in a Sakshi Khetterpal outfit. She wore a yellow floral printed asymmetrical gown with a high neckline. She teamed it up with silver stilettos and tied her hair in a messy ponytail.
