Sonam Kapoor, while not sharing Diljit's tweet, did also extend her support for the farmer's protest
Priyanka Chopra Jonas has come out in support of actor and Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh in his joining of the farmer's protests. She urged people to solve the crisis 'sooner than later'.
Sharing that farmers are India's 'food soldiers', Priyanka demanded that their fears be allayed and hopes met. She shared Diljit's tweet where he wanted to talk beyond religion.
"Our farmers are India’s Food Soldiers. Their fears need to be allayed. Their hopes need to be met. As a thriving democracy, we must ensure that this crises is resolved sooner than later," she tweeted.

Not just Priyanka, even Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor Ahuja showed her support for the farmers. She took to Instagram and shared photos of a few farmers protesting.
Alongside the images, Sonam wrote, "When tillage begins, other arts follow. The farmers, therefore, are the founders of human civilization." Anand also shared one of the images without a caption.

Diljit was part of the farmers' protest at Singhu (Delhi-Haryana) border. Addressing farmers, Dosanjh said, "I have come here to listen not speak. Thank you to the farmers from Punjab and Haryana. You have created history once again. I want to say to the government - Do not divert from the issues."
He added, "There is no other discussion going on here apart from that related to farmers. Whatever the farmers want, the government should accept. All are sitting peacefully. There is no talk of bloodshed. Everyone twists [facts] on Twitter."
The fifth round of talks between leaders of farmer groups and ministers of the Central government began on Saturday at Vigyan Bhawan here to end the deadlock over the new farm laws. A written reply of the minutes of the last meeting was given to the farmers after farmers' representatives asked the Government to give a point-wise written reply.
For the uninformed, Diljit had also recently gone on a Twitter feud with actor Kangana Ranaut. She had wrongly alleged that a person who is part of the protests was also seen at the CAA protests. Kangana further alleged that the old lady is an actor who worked for Rs. 100. Ranaut also went ahead and called Dosanjh 'Karan Johar ke paltu'.
